Indoor Jean-0's Genetics 2020

Dinafem Blue Cheese decided to pop her head out this AM and say good morning to life and the start of a new grow! Day 1

Back into my Pro Mix, pearlite, earthworm castings, and clay pelots mixture. I'm hoping to get away from the cal mag issues the coco was causing me in mid flower.

Last but not least some group shots of the grow! I will be getting some new beans dropped this week and have some updates on that next weekend.

I almost forgot Forgotten cookies came down and so did the Lemon AK. The forgotten cookies yielded me 42 grams and the Lemon AK only yielded 22 grams. I haven't tried either of them yet as I just jarred them up for cure this morning after a 5 day dry. Hopefully I will remember to get pics and post a smoke report later this week. So far right now they only have a week smell but the Lemon AK is kinda airy and does not have the best bag appeal but the Forgotten Cookies looks amazing nice and dense and super frosty.

looks like genetics plays a HUGE roll - good luck with the drying - when’s the party? :cooldance: :pass:
Party never ends around here it seems! Im super ready for the Blue Dog taste test that blueberry nose mixed with the chemdoggin fuel smell is very tempting. It appears to be a plant if let go long enough would pump out some amazing colors but with my preference of high I really enjoy the early cut with the soaring high. I tend to harvest 1 to 2 weeks early depending on strain for my desired effects.

I just had a rookie mistake kik me right in the dick yesterday. I lost almost 3 oz of good bubble hash because I forgot about it and never burped the jar. It obviously had a bit of moisture retained inside of it when I jarred it up for cure and I put it in the closet and plain forgot about it for close to 2 months. My mistake was obviously putting all my eggs in 1 basket and forgetting about it not burping it and so on the lesson learned cost probably a grand and I now will never store all my goods together in 1 place. I went to press it into rosin yesterday and it was coated in powdery mildew when I opened the jar to see what I was actually seeing fucking white powder spores poofed everywhere in my kitchen and I immediately put the lid back on threw the hole jar away and went straight into frantic cleanup with bleach. That was a good bit of my hash for the year and the first time I have ever made that mistake damn it sucks. I think for now on I will just make hash when I need it as I have a deep freeze that is just for my marijuana goodies so I can just keep my larf and trim frozen till Im running out then make a batch as I did yesterday in my recovery mode as soon as my cleanup was done I made another batch of bubble has and got a quick 16 grams I weighed up this morning and I just finished turning it into rosin as I think I will do with most of the bubble has as the rosin I store after its made in a silicone container in the refrigerator and I should have less of a chance of it going bad like the hash did. So my thoughts are the rosin for long term storage and quick small batches of hash for whenever I feel like it and Ill just store the material for whenever I need it instead of processing it and trying to store it long term. I'm not sure why or how the hash got the powdery mildew other than moisture in the jar because when I make my bubble hash I put 92% isopropanol and peroxide in the water with the ice to clean the materials and I do a real good cleaning of any material that is damaged during trim to make sure i'm not using stuff with mold or rot that all gets thrown away during harvest so I guess I also need to be more thorough while trimming and harvesting also. It was kinda tough to make the decision to throw away pretty much 3 oz's of hash which is worth a lot of $ but at the end of the day Im putting my lungs and my health on the line with it and it honestly could have been a million dollars worth and it still goes in the trash.

I also dropped a few new beans yesterday to replace the 2 that are coming out later this week. I started a new Red Poison from sweet seeds which I will be growing in a 3 gallon fabric pot with Pro Mix HP, worm castings, pearlite at about 30%, and clay pellets at about 10%. I also started another cross of my own which I am going to call Grape Cheese which is a cross of Grapey Walter from Mephisto x Blue Cheese from Coastal Genetics. I was also thinking about Fruit Cheese but anyways the cross sounds very nice. I will be going back to my old growing style of the bottled neuts with the organic neuts mixture which I believe I had better yields with also no coco this round as again I believe I had better yields without it but I did have better tric production with it so its a slight trade off.

I'm really impressed bud they look great can't wait to see more. I had some same issues with coco so I'm trying different mixes and all organic besides cal mag. I'm excited to hear the smoke report on urs should be some good smoke

So i have an original Mephisto Chemdoggin thats coming down friday and a blue dog ( blue cheese Chemdoggin) cross also coming down friday it was nice doing a side bye side trial grow n now ill get a dual smoke report to see how the new cross compares to the original. So far the new cross has much more vigorous growth n farther internodal spacing and both test plants will finish 10 days faster but with the same 56 day flowering time. Im stoked as she contained the same super gassy smell but also added strong notes of blueberry and soft musky cheese hints. The blue dog should definitely b a keeper.

Chemdoggin went in for her 48 hr dark time last night she gets the chop Saturday blue dog # 1 goes in dark tonight. Chemdoggin is super dense n full looks like a solid 2 oz.

Pineapple Not So Express day 64 from seed and 16 days since she showed female sex but this lady is not doing what she is supposed to be doing lol. This will be the 4th plant from Growers Choice Seed Co that did not preform as advertised but o well with spring on its way in a few months she got the photoperiod makeover and got some heavy training getting her ready for an outdoor spring flower. The plan is to get her big enough and healthy enough to put her outside in march and flower her out in the spring which is something I have never done yet but can be done here in Michigan if the proper steps are taken. Not the most ideal situation but something I will deal with she should be about 100 days old bye the time I'm ready to put her outside for flower and I plan on making some kind of a make shift green house to help with the cold weather she will be facing. So I main lined her and lolipoped her giving her a nice structure to work with she will be a monster when she finishes up good luck to her and what she will be soon facing March and April weather in Michigan.
