Photoperiod JD#1 (completed), page 5 Painkiller XL, CBD Purplematic, Critical

The weekly update is upon us dudes :jointman: very busy time with work this week and I had no time to get the ladies out for mugshots. Here's the tent overall, that's Critical A and CBD Purple up front.

Criticals are doing really good at end of week 6. Plant A is a lot further along than B with loads more pistils, and she's also a lot shorter and smaller overall, two very different plants.
I had to bend and break B a lot this week, she just keeps stretching higher and higher. Her longest branches are bent down to the side in the picture but they'll be up again in no time. Difficult.

PKXL you can't even see there but she's ok, she has a few three-branch nodes growing which I always take as a bad sign. We'll know more about her in a few weeks. I've cut so much growth off this plant, no surprise if she's pissed at me :smoking:

And CBD Purple, I continued taking off all the nasty clawing leaves as they came through and it looks like I got them all now. She's coming down in ten days. I cannot recommend this strain, by all reviews the best she can do is a 12 inch plant with one cola.

I'll try to get the ladies out for some pictures over the weekend! Cheers dudes enjoy what you're smoking today :smokeit:

Weekly update time dudes :smoking:

Critical A is awesome, she's not growing vertically any more, just fattening her bud sites. She had two feedings of 500ml with bloom nutes at 5ml/l and one plain water of 500ml. Pics:

Critical B is so leggy, I've fought her stretch for a month already and it continues. She is really starting to flower now though. She had two feedings of 500ml with bloom nutes at 5ml/l and two plain waterings of 500ml. Pics:

The two Criticals could not be more different in their growth, completely opposite. See below how A just grew short so I kept her vertical, whereas B grew so tall I had to bend branches over to the side repeatedly:

Very interested to see how the yields compare.

PKXL is not happy dudes and she's certainly not XL. Some of her old growth has been dying and dropping off the plant, and some new growth is very weak and thin and pale. She's been in shadow under Critical B's fat ass for a few weeks so I moved her to a better spot in the closet midweek, she gets much more light now. Her soil is a little wet so she's had nothing this week, I'll give her veg nutes once she dries up. As a photo in a closet full of autos she's been neglected for sure, sorry PKXL.

And CBD Purple has lost her place in the closet and is now chilling with the houseplant display for her final few days. The colour on the bud (singular) is a nice plus. Her new sugar leaves are still coming through clawed. Just water for her.

One of these plants is not like the others!! :haha:

I've been seeing the benefits of keeping a drier medium over these grows, as a grower I think until now I've kept my soil invariably wetter and heavier than it should be.

Wishing everyone a nice green weekend! :smokeit:

Glad you can keep us posted they are gorgeous plants you got outdoors, loving life mate big beautiful healthy bushes. Yes man I did drop a couple Northern Light autos outdoors but the area around them is completely overgrown, I can't get within even 100m of them. It's like a field of huge woody thickets and I went up there with pruning shears :haha: you'd need a flamethrower. Sticking with small grow indoors for now  cheers bud!

Dropping by with some closet pics from today which I don't usually get to take, as I was raising the lights... they usually cover the whole top of my mini space almost to the edges.

That's all Critical B taking up half the space

And the space overall with PKXL and Critical A up front.

Cheers dudes :smokeit:

Those are some happy plants in flower, Faux! I love what's going on in your closet! I would clip a couple of those fans if they are blocking the lower bud sites though. Not a lot, just to get direct light on all buds.
