No more nutrients this week as she approaches the chop. I'm letting the soil dry out and it's taking forever because of how thick and dense the soil and roots have gotten. Definitely putting more care into the potting mix next time. She's more or less ready for harvest now, my jewellers loep (don't know the english word) still didn't arrive but I'm pretty sure she's close! Got leaves dying and trichomes bending over, just can't see the clarity and colour of them.

Near the end so time to give (unsolicited) thanks to DP for such strong and easy genetics. Beginner-friendly fem, textbook growth, great scent and colouring, and can take a beating

Future wise the PainkillerXL seedling is growing fine now, and I also germinated a CBD Purplematic which is a CBD-only purple auto also from Royal Queen. I'm squeezing in this auto grow in the flower room between JD#1 coming out and PKXL going in. PKXL can hang in the veg room while I stock up on CBD-only bud! I'll mess around with cloning her and shaping her while we wait.

Probably won't keep a weekly update going forward but will keep AFN informed as and when, and will drop in to see what you guys are up to! What a smart and friendly bunch you all are

Buds look tasty, Faux! Nice job, man. Enjoy the fruits of your labor. Don’t forget to dry and cure well, and you will likely have some of the best weed you have tried, because you grew it. Cheers, man! Feel free to post updates on my journal anytime.

Bless you Iriee! A couple of long months to wait til she's ready to sample I guess. Getting some phosphorous to her I think two weeks earlier would have helped her fill out way better, she really lacked growth until she tasted those PK nutes. I'm not disappointed though, just plenty to improve on next time :smoking:

I sample mine as soon as they are dry and throughout the cure. Sometimes the weed is almost as good right off the drying rack, but almost always gets better with a cure. Two weeks tops.

Very quick note to say that the flowering space will be occupied with three additional autos along with the CBD Purple. 3 x Critical autos from RQS, germinated and should be above ground tomorrow.
PKXL can kick back in the veg room until the space is free. Maybe by then I can clone her and flower two

Hi guys the harvest from JD#1 was a total bust, after drying it's only filled half a pickle jar!! I don't have scales sothe weight is just a guess, I'd say 20g maximum, less than an oz. But I got a whole new setup now with much better lights, and the four new plants are already growing so much more vigorously than poor JD#1 ever did. I'll come back to the strain another time cos the small amount of bud she did produce is excellent quality. Really earthy and citrussy, relaxing, smooth smoke. It's not really strong and keeps calling me back for more!!

Here's what's going on these days

Sorry for the purple lights! There's PainKiller XL, CBD Purplematic and two Critical autos. PKXL is 1:1 THC:CBD. Purplematic is high CBD and zero THC, a non high strain for working hours. And the Criticals are just your standard heavy hitters.
