Indoor It's my first time, be gentle

I think I may have a problem. I was looking at the girls this morning and I think I found a pollen sack on one of them? She is a female also and so far I have only found the one:

Please say it isn't so:cuss: I went ahead and bought feminized seeds so I would have a sure thing. It never occurred to me I could end up with a hermaphrodite!!
I have no idea what to do.

I haven't any experience with hermies but I know you can pull them off and it be fine.... I'd let this go because it's at a node, at nodes you get the calyxes that will get really big and swollen. If you want through pulling it off won't hurt anything....

I contacted the seed company and sent them pictures, and they are definitely hermies. They said they got too much light because I had them on 24/0 for the first two weeks, then switched them to 20/4. They recommend a 16/8 schedule. They also recommended I chop these and start over. I also have to clean the tent with a light bleach solution to get rid of any pollen that may be in there.
What a nightmare!! I'm really confused because I see many growers on here keep them on 24/0 their entire lives...? What a shit day:frowny:

Thank you guys for all your help. Sorry I screwed the whole thing up. On the bright side, I'll be starting over with much more knowledge...but that doesn't really make me feel any better right now. They were just getting to the fun part!:cuss:

Sorry for your luck @Autoimmune here's my 1 cent for what it's worth. And don't get me wrong I have seen both of these things done with no hermies BUT changing light schedules as well as 24/0 CAN (not always) be a cause of stress on plants. And as you can see in some genetics it can cause big ugly balls that can totally ruin your "first time" experience (see what I did there) and leave you scared for life.

I run all of my plants 20/4 I believe every living thing needs rest no matter what. When I look in my tent after 20 hrs of light just before they go to sleep they look tired. They look like they need a break. After a 4hr nap and a some advanced nutrients when the LED powers back on they look thrilled to be alive.

My advice in the future is deal with the best genetics possible and choose a schedule either 18/6 or 20/4
And stuck with it the entire time.
