Aw I'm so sorry chick it's a bummer when that happens I run mine on 18/6 as I also believe they need rest it's only natural but if it's only one I'd pick it off and keep a close eye on it Best of luck
Thanks. It is actually two of them, and they may have pollenated already? I've had time to get my head around it, and I think I will just chop the two hermies and keep the one. She might be pollenated, but I will continue to use her as a learning tool. Yep, gonna make her my bitch
I really think my space is too small for three plants anyway, so by the time the new girls get big this one be ready to pull. So that's my plan.
Yeah don't beat ure self up about it yes it's a bummer but it's happened to the best of us
From the pic u showed me it hadn't pollinated anything as it's not opened up yet still to imature so like a said just pull it off n keep a close eye on her Best of luck
Ok, let me go take a closer look at them. The one plant just had on or two, but the other one has more, and is growing new ones.
At least chopping balls off will make me feel avenged
I just went in and did a little castrating, but there are more than there were yesterday. And they are impossible to cut clean off without smashing them. I don't know if they contain any pollen at this point, but if they do I just gave them all a good pollinating. Oh and of this morning all three are hermies.
I think I'm just going to chop them all. I have seeds and everything I need to grow, so I had rather just start over. Chalk this whole thing up to a learning experience and move forward. My only problem is coming up with a clever title
Yeah it's sad but give them the chop if it's all three then yeah
Don't let it dishearten you it happens to the best of use I'll give u a run down of reasons why this could have turned them
1 Light leaks in the dark period
2 light/heat stress with the light being too close
3 genes some times seeds carry the Hermie gene
4 over and under watering wich leads to stress
That's a quick run down of some of the reasons that turn them so yeah use this as a learning curve and start over if u need any help at all don't be afraid to ask u have mastered the most difficult part getting the beans to crack and sprout the soil next time just give them 18/6 light cycle and keep the light about 12 inches away I have found this to be the sweet spot with my 250w light Best of luck
Thanks. I think I messed them up in the early stages. I didn't understand how the filter/fan was suppose to work so they experienced a lot of temperature flux. I have all that figured out now, so this go round should be better all around.
