Indoor It's my first time, be gentle

I miss all this, that fast?!
OK, I was wondering about LST. I have read some about it, but wasn't sure when to start. I'll read up more on it tonight and maybe give it a go in the morning :thumbsup:
Do a search on LST, it's that magnifying glass in the top right corner.

Uhm... my chickens had have their fair share too!! They are just very interested in anything I'm doing :shrug: You may choke your chicken but I smoke mine :smoking:
:crying::crying::crying:
Hey!!! My avatar is not me choking myself!!! :funny::funny:

I read that there should be 25% run off, so that is what I'm doing. I give them 1liter per feeding and that gives me about 25% run off. If I need to change that I absolutely will.
I shoot for about 10-15% runoff. And true, some don't, and with good results, but #1 I'd prefer not to have the salt build up in my soil, and #2 watering to runoff pulls O2 into your root zone.
Water in slow, get some runoff, be happy. Check out other methods, and use them if they work for you, but get this grow under your belt first. :biggrin:

Everyone has own opinion about how to water.... Some never ever like atrain and tang get run off... Why wash nutes down the drain? Some people like runoff but not me, nutes $$$$$
A good point. Everyone finds their way.

I was looking at the girls this morning and I think I found a pollen sack on one of them? She is a female also and so far I have only found the one:
Balls? That's a freaking BALL! We have a treatment for that.

I'm sure you've scrubbed your room, but trust me that one little sack did nothing pollen-wise. A baby ball.

They said they got too much light because I had them on 24/0 for the first two weeks, then switched them to 20/4.
Bull. They lied. Good genetics are good genetics.
Unless your light cycle varied dramatically during the grow, light is not the issue.
Temps, maybe, but even your temps weren't crazy.
Weak genetics. I'd be asking for compensation. Who did you buy the beans from?
:nono::doh::doh: Those were feminised, right? :doh:

Big ugly balls have ruined my first time!
:funny::funny::funny: Those ruined my first time, too!!! :crying::crying::haha::eyebrows::naughtystep::naughtystep:

Yes, they are feminized but there was temperature flux early. I don't want to say who I got them from, but they aren't a company recommended on his site. Live and learn! I'm doing everything right this time and if I get hermies again I will be happy to warn everyone about them and get a refund. I just feel like I should give them the benefit of the doubt for the time being.

I'm sorry you had to come back to all this. But its all good now!

Awwwww, :pass::biggrin::d5:
I'm glad your pressing on, Sis. I wonder if NL genetics are starting to tap out on the fringes. It's my wife's go to for a number of issues, and this grow is the first bean we've seen that went kaput..
Did you at least torture the Hermie? It may or not feel good, but oh what a message! :headbang::joy::muahaha:

I hope the NL genetics arnt taping out as that's my next run and they where freebies with my last order
Renaissance Redneck that's got to be one of the funniest pics IV seen made me laugh:crying:

Welcome, This should be an iteresting journey for the both of us. As you already know Iam starting my first autos as well. Just patienly waiting on my seeds to germinate and I' am off. I' am looking forward to following your journey. Good luck and happy growing.
:welcome:

Hello, this is my first auto grow and hopefully my first ever successful grow!! I have two Northern Lights Feminized autos and one Sour Diesel feminized auto. They are 18 days old and stinky.

They haven't had the best start due to irregular heat and humidity. The crazy weather we have had this month has been a challenge, but Spring is on the horizon and hopefully the weather will even out.

MY set up is: 2x2 tent with carbon filter, humidifier, and 400 watt HPS. They are on 20/4 lighting schedule and I'm feeding them General Organics BioThrive grow at 1tsp per gallon( half of the recommended light feeding) with PH adjusted (6.5) tap water. They are in 3 gallon smart pots planted in FF Happy Frog straight out of the bag. I've tried to keep them between 75-80 degrees °F and humidity at 45-50%.

They seem small and compact but they aren't lowryders. Is this OK? Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.

Pics coming as soon as I figure out how :doh:

#2!!! Wow! I put a fan on her to help keep her cooler, but she kept curling. Now I know why. I'll go fix that right now. Thank you!!
I'am glad I read this. Didn't know a fan can do this...... I bought two fans one for the bottom of my tent and one for the top. Now I'll deff keep a close eye now. Awesome, information.
