ON A SIDE BAR. I ordered some ZIPPER - Ease off Amazon. One recurring complaint I've read is about the zippers on the tents. Many have problems but I have not. To remain in zipper heaven I got and YES even used the Zipper - Ease. It is a wax and it makes the zipper slide easily. So if you have a zip issue, try it.

Good tip, @Nosias. I use that stuff on my jackets and stuff and it works but you do have to reapply. I know some day the main zip is going to fail and that is going to be the end of my grow tent.

I've also found Jameson to be a good lubricant as well from time to time :drunks:

On a sad note I wish for everyone to give some thought to how lucky they are that they are not on the TEXAS Gulf Coast. I spent 28 years there and all of my friends there are in deep trouble. They may receive 40 - 50inches of rain !!! The worst is yet to come. All of this water will rush to the Gulf of Mexico and all of the water ways are all ready flooded. So please give them some love and good thoughts. Many people will need it.

I lived on the Gulf Coast in Florida and went through my share of storms, but nothing like this. I know it is already a tragic situation, I hope your friends and loved ones can find a way to stay safe and dry :bighug:

Sometimes you just have to grab what's important and head for the hills!

Glad you found this useful. It just takes some friction off the zipper and makes it a smooth pull.

Jameson is something that my whole family enjoys. :sadcry::eek1::evil::lol::mrgreen::rolleyes1::sad::evil1:

Thanks @SPZ ...............My last neighborhood in Richmond had a mandatory evacuation yesterday. The Brazos River set a record last year of 54.7 feet and the hood was surrounded. Normally the water level is at 7-9 feet. This thursday the water will hit over 59 feet. That is 2 feet higher than the levy that protects my former hood. The last we heard was they were being moved out by boats. This is when all of the shit that divides us is forgotten and it is now one for all and all for one. I am so proud of the people who live in the area. God bless them all.

Sweet. Good job on the thread. It feels weird writing this but after a while it is a great routine to get into. If your like me you have most of the day :)

One of the big benefits of the journal for me is that I've found it's great to be able to review what happened before. If you notice an issue you can check the older pictures to see exactly when the problem developed, or you can check details like how much your girls fed over time, what temp was it on a certain day, whatever... as long as you remember to post that stuff when it happens, it's easy to forget!

I too have enjoyed me some Jameson many of times.. haha. Sending good vibes to everyone affected by Harvey.

You can text HARVEY to 90999 to donate $10 to the Red Cross for relief on the gulf coast or find lots of other ways to help. It's a small thing but I have sent $10 and I am now sending good vibes from Mass to Texas while I settle in for bed. Please forgive me if I'm taking Scotch not Irish for my nightcap.
