Indoor Is this normal,? 3 leave sets per node!.

Hello all, I'm new again to the site. Last here about 8 years ago.I've just popped a northernlights auto seed from victory seeds. I planted 2 but only 1 made it all my fault I think just for trying to hard to get them started. I planted it straight in coco and after about 4 days it showed its face. It just couldn't seem to lose it helmet (seed husk). I helped it a little cos it seemed like forever ,anyway 1st first leaf came 1 single leaf then the next node had a weird deformed leaf. But now onto it 3 node it's got 3 sets, I've only ever seen them come out 2 at a time opposite each other. These are like a triangle. Dont know if this is normal as this is my first time with

autos and first time with NL. I'm not worried cos it seems healthy and looks pretty cool. Any help or words would be awesome. Thankyou and keep up all the good work.

Hi man not a great sign re. genetics but of course keep her running and she'll surely produce. I had a lil trifol action going on recently but the plant grew out of it, all the higher growth was normal. See how we do mate

Just leave her alone. Sometimes they start off weird and but after a few leave sets they are fine.

That is called a triplet. Not too common but not rare either. I love growing mutants. You might have the next Holy Grail?

It's be coming more common. It's called a trifoliate. Some plants grow out of it, some don't. If it doesn't grow out of it then each node will have 3 branches instead of two.
