Day 20 - Blue Toof Special Pheno
Day 19 - Lemon Zkittlez (outdoor)
Well, we have had a nice break in the weather. Nice easy days in the seventies, and even some rain. It has been fairly easy maintaining the target VPD in the cabinet. And the two photoperiod plants outside seem to be loving life also!
I changed the reservoir, and started the ppms at 850. The plants seem to love it, so I will keep it here for a bit, mid veg at least. Seeing quite a few pistils showing now, so she is right on schedule to begin flowering before day 30. I am hoping for a fast strain.
BT1 continues to thrive, and is not giving up any ground to BT2. This is not going to be a small plant, as she is keeping pace with any plant I have grown so far. Wouldn't it be cool if I could get 5 ounces from this tasty frosty terpenesy Mephisto strain. I wouldn't be following this grow with another for sure. At this point. I can't see BT1 coming in small unless I screw up somewhere. I am excited to watch her do her thing. Looking forward to seeing that Mephisto frost that I have been seeing in other tents.
BT2 is coming along. Smaller than her sister, but I like the structure. Will keep opening up the middle with leave tucking and some minor defoliation. Less space to work with, but will let her stretch before doing any additional training. She will be a good candidate for stem trainers.
I know this is an indoor journal, but thought I would update on my first outdoor plants. The Dutch Passion Lemon Zkittlez are looking great at Day 19. I didn't top these, so they are growing in the traditional main cola structure. Temps outside are optimal, and the plants even got a nice sprinkle this morning. They seemed to enjoy the first rainfall. Temperatures will be in the eighties for the next couple weeks, so they should be able to establish themselves nicely before the heatwave begins.
