New Grower ILGM Auto Jack Herer

Looking good. I like to see some JH varieties, ILGM look nice!
I know giving unsolicited advice is ... a pain in the a$$, but ...
see if you can get the RH % up for these little seedlings.
Especially in small cups to start with, which can dry out fast!
And be careful with vinegar for pH, it's not reliable.
Did you soak / treat the coco first and let the pH stabilize?
I see you've got a pH meter, right? That's cool!
All the best buddy, they're looking great at this point!
:slap:

The vinegar is weird. Either my ph stays in the permanently or only last two days. I didn't soak the coco or anything, I didn't even intends to grow in coco. My water runoff has been alkaline around 7 but I didn't make a fresh gallon of water with nurses in it so I think I skewed my own results but I have not seen any burn or lockout yet.

I did water them extensively as I has between cautious initially and I've only ever grown in soil but nothing bad has happened yet. Tonight when I post my update I'll give them fresh 5.8 ph water while I bubble a new batch for nutes.

Thanks for the advice because I need it bad.

Good to see you havnt given up @Damien50 !

I also have a Jack Herer starting along with a Black Domina . See them listed below.

Good luck @Damien50 !

I'll be following along! :vibes::gary:

I appreciate the support!

Week 2 Day 1 - Pretty sure I over watered two of them

  1. 16-20% RH
  2. 85-97f radiant temperature
So first off I probably over watered despite me giving them all the same amount. I have two with this word looking film on them that remained when I removed the shell, they aren't spreading into leaves but growing taller still. I took the film off one but the other wouldn't let me so...

Now I have another two that are drooping and it's quite unfortunate.

Then I have one that isn't doing what they are and seems fine for some reason. Pics in the order I mentioned. This low humidity isn't helping at all and my humidifier isn't raising it.

My coco runoff ph was a 7. I obviously didn't dial in my nute water.

Ph 7? Uh oh!!

You definitely need to change that

  1. Week 2 Day 2 - Here come the leaves

I over watered I truly did. I have since learned my lesson. In other news it snowed outside and the air from my window dropped my ambient temperature to 66f with my radiant at 75f. I turned on the heat and the useless humidifier.
    • 16-22% RH
    • 66-91f

They look like they will survive.

Your ph needs to change.

Maybe flush them with the right ph'ed water to get that ph correct. I made this mistake also on my current grow. The lower leaves were all lighter colored Aand dropped off but the central growth was dark .green after getting my ph correct. But, I do grow in coco. Ph is different for soil growers.

My 2 Gorilla Glues and KrippleBerry's Journal below is what you need to look at. The very begging is when I screwed up. It is all Journaled.

Add a shallow container of warm water to raise your RH.

I flushed them but I over watered them at the same time. The runoff was a 5.8 or so but I need to do another some time this week once my coco dries up more.

But damn do I appreciate the advice because I needed confirmation on my diagnosis. I have a gallon bubbling at 5.5ph in preparation. In hoping week three will look better. I tried several warm bowls of water but my house is so dry. When I did the outside ph it was like 10%.

Week 2 Day 3 - No Fatalities

Nothing died, some clawed leaves but otherwise were good.

Week 2 Day 5 - Possible casualty?

Rh and temps have been steady so nothing to report on that end. I haven't noticed any growth from any of them including the over watered ones but my first grow went like this for three weeks before anything noticeable happened. I'm assuming they are establishing their roots.

Watered them with some nutes for the week and added a bit of coco on top. My concern it's with one that I previously mentioned that had germinated but had this weird skinny root. Well I was watering it and it came out the coco and the root was only half and inch long. I hurried and re buried it but I doubt it will survive. Here's the strong four though.

Week 3 Day 2 - Lost one

Lost one, down to four. Now I have one that suffered over watering to the point that the fan leaves clawed in to the stem. Now the edges of the leaves had started to turn gras as well which I suspect is a potassium efficiency or a ph problem that I am slowly trying to rectify.

Second one that suffered over watering recovered well. I had a nitrogen deficiency going on but I have been doing foliar feeding and rectified the problem overnight.

Third plant suffered a nitrogen deficiency as well.

Fourth plant suffered a nitrogen deficiency.

I have been trying since my last update to raise the humidity and nothing is really working so in stuck at 16% RH. Tomorrow I'm going to test the ph runoff on the first plant and see if there's anything I can do. My growth seems so slow to be the third week. I'm not really seeing fast growth.

Update

Made a humidity dome from a glass bowl and two small bowls of warm water. Rh has reached 55 so far compared to 16. Picture will be self explanatory but it's working
