New Grower I probably should have waited until fall...

How long it will take to ripen is like asking how long is a rope? Howie Long is a china man :haha:. Forget the calendar the breeders time frame is only a guesstimate. Strain, light and temperature all play a role in the ripening process. Warm conditions speed the process up and cooler ones slow it down. I always do a 3 day flush in DWC or other hydro methods. Watch the trichomes with a Lupe, pay attention to how fast they go from all cloudy to 10% amber and you will have a good idea how long it will take to get to 20%. Plan your flush accordingly to harvest at the desired amber level.

Good advice, MOG. Thank you. That's a good reference to use.

Tbh I can't really tell as there's no reference scale in your pics. For me, whole 18" branches were budding and the last few weeks until flush was all fattening / filling in. View attachment 953507View attachment 953514View attachment 953515View attachment 953516View attachment 953522

Thanks Jrok. I was hoping you would say they buds grew a lot of height in the last three weeks, because there is no way I have 18 inch buds. I have a lot of them but the longest is probably 6 inches. Probably a result of the heat stress. Oh well, we knew she wouldn't be 7 ounces. I would be happy as hell with 3, but may have to adjust my hope down to two based on where your plants were at the same point.

You gunna do 2 at least... I’m know all my GC plants pulled 2+ At least so far...I’ll know for sure in a week... but based on your pics and sizing up to mine your gunna do well my friend...
Hear you go fams:slap:

Thanks for the encouragement and Rep, Kreature! That means a lot coming from you with how your plants turned out! Keep it green, my friend!

Also, can I increase the lights at this stage of flowering, knowing my plants have photo characteristics?

Question: do you flush with the same light schedule? Keep it at 12/12 or do something different?

I usually flush for 3-5 days: 3 for hydro / 5 for soilless/soil. I also do an extended dark for 48hrs from the final lights out before chop/trim. This could just be the 'old school photo guy' left in me, but it used to be a thing...

Don't change the light schedule, move the lights a tiny bit closer if you're brave, but keep a super close eye on the tall bits for burn/stress. At this point it's all patience, especially for the CP... she'll fatten up lots more over the next few weeks, I was pretty shocked.. Yours was delayed in veg by your heat issues, but with the super-stout stature you've got, you may end up with some beercan buds after all - time will tell.
