New Grower I probably should have waited until fall...

Your plants are looking good. You will never regret buying good meters and you are looking at the best of the best IMPO. You can do a 3 day flush without hurting the GG. Do two days with just PHed water and Hydroguard and the 3rd day with Flawless Finish and Hydroguard, PHed of course. Harvest all but one branch of leaves on the CP and then go right back to the nutrient schedule for the GG. The leaves on the GG have plenty of nutes to support the plant for 3 days. I have done this several times with no problems for the remaining plant.

@Mañ'O'Green , you are the third person that mentioned leaving a part of the plant in when harvesting two plants at different times. I am curious, what is the reasoning behind that? What would happen if I were to take the whole darn plant out and put back an empty net pot? I am not doing that, but interested in the science behind it.

The roots in the reservoir of the two plants will be hopelessly intertwined; unless you kept them seperate with some kind of divider. Trying to seperate them will do massive amounts of damage to the GG. This is something you want to avoid. If you take all of the top off of the CP the roots will die fouling your reservoir and most likely killing the GG. The solution is to leave some of the CP top with as many leaves as possible. This will keep the root system of the CP alive and well until you harvest the GG. This is a proven technique.

Got it. Makes perfect sense. Only, if the CP follows the 11 week flowering schedule the breeder and JP mentioned, the GG will be done much before the CP, and I will be leaving its leaves in the reservoir.

This is a very interesting and exciting part of the grow for sure!

It is irrelevant which one you harvest first the method still applies.

Lol! Thanks for clarifying that MOG!

Okay. I took a couple truck pictures. Sorry for the blurriness. My hands aren’t steady enough for this shit!

It looks to my untrained eye that there is still a mix of clear with a little cloudy on both plants. My plan is to go another week with big bud and then to switch next week to overdrive, which should be the last two weeks of feed before flush.

With a little bit of luck, the CP will be ready for harvest. Granted it would be a little on the early side, but still 10.5 weeks of flower. The GG will be right at the long end of its flowering at 9 weeks.

That’s the plan at least. Let me know what you think.

The first is the CP and the second is the GG4. What do you think? Three more weeks for each, before flush? Possibly?
