New Grower I probably should have waited until fall...

Thanks Med. Well, it would be difficult to correctly finish her, since I would need to flush the shared reservoir, which would impact the GG. I am hoping that I can harvest her a week later than I would if she was alone, and that will allow the GG to finish, even if I have to pull at 10% amber, as opposed to more. Not a perfect situation for sure.

I will share some picslater this week, and will want your thoughts if we feel the GG is three weeks away then. If it is, then we switch to Overdrive for both. If we feel it will need four more, then I would want to wait another week to allow more bud growth before shifting to Overdrive. They say there should no longer be new white pistils when making the shift to Overdrive.

Be careful of following pistils only, but better to use trichs as the indicator. Some strains will push out white pistils in after they are ripe for harvest.
Now harm in one week though for sure.

Okay, I willl show some close ups at the end of the week to see whether we feel it is three weeks or four and more away. Also, when you say the CP is two weeks away, you mean two weeks away from the flush week. right? Not two weeks away from chop.

I'd say at least that @Pigskin... based on the growers choice site, you're looking at 10-12 wks flowering the CP. I can also confirm that the less ripe she is, the more jittery the stone (like coffee jitters). The next time I do the CP I'll be doing a staggered harvest for sure. My lower branches could have gone an extra week or two easily. Just picked up some tangerine dream for my next run...counting the days ;)

Patience is key in the last few weeks...

Wow. 12 weeks of flowering.! That would mean it is only halfway there, and the GG will be ready before. Never thought that could be the case based on the CP quicker and more substantial budding.

Your plants are looking good. You will never regret buying good meters and you are looking at the best of the best IMPO. You can do a 3 day flush without hurting the GG. Do two days with just PHed water and Hydroguard and the 3rd day with Flawless Finish and Hydroguard, PHed of course. Harvest all but one branch of leaves on the CP and then go right back to the nutrient schedule for the GG. The leaves on the GG have plenty of nutes to support the plant for 3 days. I have done this several times with no problems for the remaining plant.

Thanks MOG. I like that fall back option.

MOG, have you done the three days flush with Flawless finish with another plant in the reservoirs? I ask because I read somewhere that after you run flawless finish, the plant will no longer absorb nutes. Was that an incorrect opinion?

I actually used something else I think Frog......something I don't remember. Check with AN or just use water. I have not heard that but go to the source.

Just looked at AN website they say you can use for mini-flush during growth so rumor is wrong. Go ahead and use the Flawless Finish
