for the smell i read that if you leave the leafs for the first week of drying, it helps to remove the chlorophyll smell, as it's the leafs that destroy it or something like that.. then you remove the leafs and leave it for another weak until it's dry ... you may know it for sure but just in case..

You have nice buds ! my own don't grow anymore for some days so i'll move to overdrive wednesday (7th week); i know you told me to check the trichs but it's like it just stopped to grow..

Hey Shantam, yes definitely shift to Overdrive now to boost the growth of those buds. That would help to get every gram out of her!

Interesting about the connection between leaves curing and smell. Definitely have to look into that. I was thinking of a wet trim, but will have to hold on that until I learn more about this.

I've hung dry lots of whole plants/branches and never lost smell or had a chlorophyll taste, but I've also never tried a wet trim or paper bag dry, both of which I intend to give a go next week! I'll be curious to see if there's a big difference in the consistency/speed of the dry, or the amount of aroma that's maintained. Exciting times man!

Big day today! I changed the reservoir and replaced Big Bud with Overdrive. For the non Advanced Nutrients growers, Overdrive means we believe we are two weeks away from flush. I actually think the timing will work out perfectly.

The CP is still little further ahead. Mostly cloudy trichomes but some clear and a few amber. While the GG is mostly cloudy with some clear. I think the GG will be perfect at about 10% amber and the CP will be just fine at 30% amber. Hopefully these two weeks will bring us there. Here are the thrichome shots.
