lol, your first run, in INSANE heat, looks better than any of the 20+ grows I've done. I need to consider a DWC or dripper based system...:wall:

Thanks Moviefan! Damn that's great to hear coming from someone with your experience. Appreciate it man! Yeah, this grow would have been toast if not for my dwc with water chiller! The heat would have won for sure. Think I will stick with this DWC for the next few grows for sure.

There are quite a few little budlets like this on her now. Reminds me of the CP last week. Hopefully, she progresses over the next week, like the CP has since the last reservoir change.

I must admit, this is a very exciting part of the grow! The extended vegging was getting really old!

Yes that is the beginning of early flower. Do not switch to bloom nutes for at least another week maybe two.

The plants will force you to be patient. Three times in the life cycle drive me crazy: The first two weeks of seedling, The first two weeks of flower then the last 3 weeks of flower:hurry:.

Hey MOG! With AN nutes I actually don't ever switch to bloom, as the base nutes remain the same throughout. You only add big bud, and switch back to root enhancer (voodoo juice) and stop stem enhancer (b vitamins), when starting flowering. I did that about four weeks ago. The schedule calls for switching back to stem enhancer b-52 after the first two weeks of flower. I haven't done that yet. Waiting a week, as you said.

I am a fan of the ease of AN nutrients. Not only no switching, but has kept my ph in a nice range for the most part.

No matter which AN base nutrients you are running there is a "Grow" and a "Bloom" separate component:

So I do not understand your methodology?

Ok so after running AN's calculator a few times I see that the ratio between the Grow, Bloom and Micro remains the same throughout most of the grow. So I better understand your comment.

The thing that most new growers do that I do not agree with is they try to push their plants with the nutrient schedule. Thinking that giving them Bloom nutrients will make the plant bloom. That is not the case and it can stunt a plants growth. The idea is to give the plant the nutrients it can best utilize for the growth period it is in - follow the lead of the plant.

I wonder if this is part of your issue. I didn't know that you didn't have any bloom nutes. Although, both are definitely there now. I also don't give any bloom nutes in the first two weeks of the pre-flower stage.
Great to see both girls are there now though!:bighug:

Ok, I see now as well. Thanks for clarifying [HASHTAG]#manogreen[/HASHTAG]

MOG, that's the calculator I use, just at two thirds strength. When you click on those options, you will see that you use the exact same ratio of the three part base (micro, grow, and bloom) through the whole grow. Only the supplements change, adding big bud in early flower and then overdrive in late flower.
