what's up guys. I'm on week 2 of flowering and my humidity is running anywhere from 50%-70%. The issue I have is the tent is in the same room as my tumble dryer.

The dryer is vented through an open window but it still keeps the humidity up. I can't really afford a dehumidifer until next month though.

Do you have any suggestions or any tips on how to reduce it? I've knocked the extract fan up onto it's highest setting and opened side vents but there's a chance of some light leakage when the leds turn off in the day time.

Also, I've been chopping away fan leaves that block bud sites from receiving light. Would you remove more or leave as is?

hi matt with autoflowers light leaks aren't really the same with photo plants and with your humidity that is high as later in flower you could have mould issues also haven't you got a bigger fan to get the air moving more in your tent also i wonder what your humidity level is at higher up not on the floor

Hey buddy. Yes I have a big oscillating fan I can replace it with. This isn't an auto which is why i bought the light leakage up.

Too bad their not autos, you could run the lights 24 on. When the lights are off what's the rH? the dark period will probably raise the rH even more.

Last resort look for a product called RotBlock... product out of BC, I ran it on a test last fall, and it works.
Ran into the 70% range intentionally and had no mold issues. Overall the quality of the flower suffered from the high rH tho.

sorry bro i didn't know and i recon with more air moving around it may do the trick as my humidity is normally around 50 ish and I'm happy growing all year around with that

Doing well! Took my dad down to South east Az in January and got stuck for a bit due to the rona. Home for now, and everything running at full blast! How's things with you?

For what it's worth, I use humidifiers to keep humidity in the 60s from seed to harvest in hydro, and have never had bud rot.
I do have good air flow and an oscillating fan.
