Indoor HSO Auto's: A Kind adventure with the Misty and Silverback.

"The queen of light took her bow, then she turned to go"

Oct 31

Both of the girls are now in the silverback. For now I have turned off the air conditioning unit and box temps appear to be at 80° with a relative humidity of 50%. They both seem to be OK with the change of environment. Lemon juice is growing at a much faster rate than the skunk. Skunky does not show any type of deficiencies other than looking like a dwarf, I'm sure she will soon make up for lost time. I will say the silverback runs about 6° above ambient temperature with my 750 W light running at 60% capacity. This is definitely good news for people who live in colder climates that would not be able to afford the environmental control option that this box has as it is rather expensive but necessary depending on the location of your grow. Both of my boxes are completely light proof, and extremely quiet.

I will be busy for the next couple weeks and will not be able to keep a close watch on these two. Because of this I had to speed the process up and get the light mounted in its highest position and switch to kinds auto run mode. I also set up my CO2 boost bucket that I had from the previous grow that was not used.

Temp: 80F 50% RH
Light: Auto run mode
Water: 3-4oz Daily
CO2: Low mode

In addition to an updated picture of the girls I took a snapshot of how the AC unit is integrated in the box. The company has a pretty good video on YouTube that describes its features and how it works.

One of the two girls have been coming along fine. Skunk is showing signs of N toxicity. The wife has been tending to them in my absence. I'm going to dry both them up and monitor her further. Lemon is praying at lights out, good signs. More to come.....

Definitely looks like N tox, so if you haven't scaled back the grow portion of your feed, you may want to consider it..

It has been several weeks since the last update. A lot has changed since then, some good some bad and some that is expected. Overall, lemon juice is doing much better than skunk. Skunk has been dealing with nitrogen toxicity since the very beginning. In the pictures you can see where her leaves are crawled. Lemon juice is more productive, taller, and her aroma is much stronger than skunk. The environment in the box is been very consistent with 74° with a 40% relative humidity. The water accumulating system was becoming dirty and the PPM started to rise to about 75 and the pH is 7.5 7.6. I cleaned out the system and will check back in a couple days. By the looks of them they should be ready by the turn of the year. See for yourself!
