Lighting HPS for autos

Hey Dave,

Most importantly, what type ballast are you running? Mag or digi? If digi, be aware that Eye Hortilux has had some serious issue with some digi ballasts. I used to run horti and recently switched to ushio. I loved the hortilux but honestly, if they aren't going to warranty their bulbs because I run a lumatek digi then they loose my business.

BTW, styles rasta to AFN bro.

  iv repped ya up bro,I confused myself with that mistake lol Stones slap

I've grown with nothing but "iPower" HPS and MH bulbs on all of my grows (with all three grows documented here on AFN.) They are incredibly cost effective and I've been running the same set of bulbs for over a year with those grows and they are still plugging away. I actually just ordered up replacements to have on hand (my gut instinct is they are closing in on their end of life expectancy,) but I literally paid $20 for the MH and $15 for the HPS (400W variety.) New set of bulbs that I expect to last for over a year that covers your vegging and your HPS for $35 delivered right to your door in discrete packaging off of Amazon.

They can also be used in both digital and magnetic ballasts; my 400W is a digital ballast and the 1000W is magnetic.

I just checked on the 600W varieties; you can get a 600W HPS for $23 and a 600W MH for about $20.

I haven't tried other brands; but I like these bulbs and I like the prices; so my suggestion is to try what sounds good to your ears, your brain, your wallet, and most importantly, YOU!

Good luck brother!
