Same here...love fishing for toothy critters!! Walleye, pike + musky. But in winter I fish for a dozen species.

Yes!! @912GreenSkell ! I love all fishing, but that Pike fishing is unlike no other! I haven't caught any musky yet, I need to mark that one off my bucket list though!!! Where you at 912? Canada?

Yes pike are savage beasties!! Love their ferocity and their savage strikes. Here in central/northern Ontario we have exceptional pike fishing. Its not uncommon to get 20+ fish per man in the spring and most day we will see few 10+pound class fish. if you get a chance to go for muskie make sure you do it. The smaller class fish(up to 20 pounds) are true machines. Unlike pike they often do spectacular aerials, jumping 3 feet in the air. Awesome. If you dig up the fishing/shooting thread in the AFN private chat category you can find a bunch of pics of fish from the last couple of seasons.

Our area is fairly pressured but I get a few or two a season in the 40"+ class. They are here, but they are smart!! I have seen several fish in the 30pound class, but they are impossible to catch!! Follow yes, bite no!

I am itching for some fishing bud!! Been a few months since I have been out. Ice is almost here though!! Fish on!!
