Every which way but loose !

They are angled AND tilted. Ever since I cut my SOG net and moved this surviving MM to the middle pot, it took off crazy.
Now I have to do THIS to get all sides of the plant, with lights that were planned to do 3 plants.
NOT going to do well as for grams per watt! 720 output on the LEDs + 100 watts of cfl s.
No energy star award for this, but this is my first grow (start flush tomorrow), and I want to see what I can push it to, since I lost the other plants.

Quick question. I have 2 mars reflector 300 you know the ones green casing, it has bloom and grow switches in a 120x120 tent.
Actually thinking about it I have a couple of questions.
Firstly my plants are now 2 weeks and have been outdoors since germinating I'm moving them back into the tent and first question is how far away should I have the lights, the plants are between 3 and 4 inches,
Second question for auto's is it recommended to have both bloom and growth on or wait until they show sex before putting bloom on.

I would start at about 60cm with the veg spectrum then introduce the bloom as well as veg spectrum in a couple of weeks when you get pre flowers.

Thanks Tang. I just want to make sure I get it right this time after my last shambles. Plants are nice and healthy and the only difference in my set up from successful grows is the led's.
The plants have had 0.5 cal/mag per litre as a precaution in their last feed and I'll keep that up throughout just to be on the safe side

Atm i got my 300w Mars Hydro Old model Above the Canopy and a supporting 180w Old model Ufo Angled towards the Fat Maincola of the Sodk x Ripleys Og ....and to be honest i came on the idea by checking Tangs threads to catch up. If it works simply use it or???

This may be an extremely stupid question, but..... Is there any benefit, or sense, to using LED's for side/under lighting? I have my 600 watt HPS, that I love, and I'm finally about to get myself a tent, instead of growing in the middle of a big open room and I've thought about getting an inexpensive MarsHydro unit for side, or under lighting. Would it be beneficial? Can you hang them completely vertical or even upside down, without it causing any issues? again, this may be a stupid thought, but I thought it and would like to know the Pros' thoughts on this. Thanks!

Having lighting underneath a plant will not make a noticeable difference as plants photosynthesize from the top of their leaves

Thanks for the reply! How about LED as side lighting? Would that be a waste? I just like the idea of them not being as bulky as CFLs for side lighting.

Depends how many plants you want to grow. You could quite happily get 4 under just the hps. But if you wanted more then yes you can use led as side lighting very effectively

Wow - some of you guys have some seriously slick hanging styles! Slanted in at 45deg x2 looks awesome!

I simply have 2x yoyo hangers on my led - no where near as advanced as you guys
