So my filter is going to stay outside as it is way too crowded inside.Fan will be in tent.I just sent for Terrabloom pvc ducting which should be a breeze to use as the included ducting is pure crap.....sorry MH but it is as I have been hand fitting some for two days now and the stuff is so flimsy and as careful as I have been it tears.Also the spiral direction on the wire makes it hard to secure even snipping and cutting it to a specific shape.....it still tears.And for the extra 43 bucks for shipping to the mainland USA and an extra 9 bucks for international shipping....yeah,my order was shipped out of a TEXAS warehouse.So an extra 52 bucks that could have went to cherry picking ancillaries.These are issues that people need to know about because there are far better kits for about 100 bucks less and cherry pick the ancillaries it comes out to the same base price of the kit I got.

I do not expect the included ancillaries to be top notch or even mediocre but at least work for a couple of harvests.I am using the straps for the filter for the fan so I can use the ratchets for the light with an extra coming I ordered.I have pretty much everything here to plant tonight....except ducting...which will hopefully pop up tomorrow from Amazon.Build a soil finally shipped out.There communication has been great so far after I reached out.These parts in these kits are the same as other brands but as I am finding out some are better than others even in the same price range.MH was good about getting back to me last night after I sent an email out just a few hours later but not digging how they want the defective item sent back....too much $$$$ has already been spent and I am not about ready to lop off another leg or arm for shipping back.....rant/

If this is too offensive for here that is fine too...remove it as I am not bashing MH but am stating my observations which are excessive shipping charges,ducting too flimsy to use,an out of spec part.These are my impressions of MH.I will say I like the tent,the light,and the fan....ATM when plugged in they work.The Terrabloom will be reviewed as well.IMHO that is not an item to cheap out on as the ducting is very important for smell,heat,ventilation regulation.

So you're gonna be pushing air out the filter instead of pulling might work best if the fan is outside and filter inside..

+1 on filter in tent, fan sucking from outside. The fan likely takes up more vertical space than the filter would, and filters usually last a bit longer if you suck through them rather than blow.

Honestly, you can hang with whatever you want hon. I have my fan/filter hung up by bungie cords at the top of my tent, then I used the black rope adjustable ratchet type hangers for my light. I dont move my fan/filter...but I sure do move my lights
