Hey all, your thoughts and experiences please...

I use two 60x60cm tents, with one Mars hydro 96 reflector in each (about 180 actual Watts per tent). I started growing a few years ago with four 10 litre pots in each tent, and got around 200g per tent.

Now I use three 11 or 12 litre pots and get the same total yield. I'm pretty confident I could drop to two 15 litre pots per tent and still get 200g total (ie 100g per plant). How realistic is it to expect to drop to one 15 (or even 20) litre pot per tent, and pull 200g from the one plant? In this case I'll be growing all dp think different, in plagron light with old-timer nutes.

I normally have one or two td or auto mazar in each tent (tried and tested favourites) and something I've not grown before for variety, but I'm fed up of three plants fighting for space. These td and am can get big!

Cheers in advance....

Appreciate your thoughts...

some of the DP strains are known to get big big.so id say try 1 plant in one tent with 15L 2 plants in the other
good luck
:pighug:

I have no clue what the conversion rate would be... But, I've got a grow in my signature that's in a 24/25 gallon tote...that appears its going to give the same (on the low end of it)as I get out of a 5 gallon bucket.

Genetics and training are huge factors in deciding yield.

This is true too, a UK gallon is I think 4.5 litres. So 5 gallons would be 22.5 litres, which is a lot of soil! Think I'll go with 2 in one, 1 in the other. That'll leave me another think diff bean to try growing with both lights in one tent as the weather gets colder here as well :)

I had to use a converter on google haha
:pass:
If I remember right, the last time I looked, my tote was either 90l or 100some liters. I'm stuck on 5 gallon buckets and... Well, it's almost like mainlining, but at the 4th node and all nodes below that after topping it...
I'm going to try that, but at the 3rd true node next time I pop a seed, just to see if it gives me bigger buds on the shrub it makes.
I did what I described with this one that got chopped today.

I was extremely satisfied with how she grew, but her buds weren't as big as I was hoping for, So I'll top and train sooner.

Looks luverly! I generally do a little lst, but run out of room to move to quick. I've not seen anyone mainline an auto before, looks like it works though :)

I'm not really sure I'd call it mainlining... Just keep all of her branches parallel with the ground until a little while after flower sets in, then untie her and let her do her thing. I guess it'd be LST, in all actuality.
