:toke: Howdy Folks and welcome to my journal. I'm not an experienced grower, but I have had several semi-successful grows during my continued education here at AFN University. Let me start by thanking @Sweet Seeds Jay for releasing this strain and @George Seeds at The Vault for providing these free beans in a give away last year.

Seeds were dropped midday, my time, on Saturday and placed between paper towels,

48 hours total and they have inch long tails.. :woody:

:welcome:Ok here's a few details! Seeds were soaked in a solution of .75ml Mammoth P and .75ml of Bio-root mixed in a gallon of bubbled tap water 24 hours. They were then placed in Tupperware container between a paper towel for 24 more hours and found to have inch long tails. I immediately planted them in Dixie size cups and today, (just 3 days from the time they hit the water), they have all broke though the soil. I have never experienced germination this quickly!

The 3 ladies will start their life indoors in my 32 x 32 converted grow/shower. Medium consists of a 70/30 mix of Fox Farm Happy Frog x coco coir. Nutes will be from the Fox Farm line, along with other goodies like worm casting, bat guano, and fish concentrate teas. I also use Sledgehammer, Boomerang, SM-90, Mammoth P, Bio-root, Blackstrap molasses, Liquid Seaweed, Neem oil, Superthirve, and Cal/Mag+ on a regular basis/as needed.

Outdoor details: Last year I grew in 3 gallon fabric pots and this year all the ladies will be in the ground. Holes were dug approx. 1.5 feet wide by 2 feet deep lined with contractor bags. Lime was added, along with water storing polymers. I will also use Great White mycorrhizae when I transplant them to their final home. Oh yeah, I will use copper scrubbers and slug bait for slugs of course, and predator piss for deer and rabbits. Holes will be covered by approx. 2 x 2 plastic coated metal fence bent in shape of an upside down bowl. I'm shooting for a June 15 transplant date, near the summer equinox. These ladies will be planted "tier style " to reduce/eliminate shock! :peace:

Not much to report, as the ladies are establishing their roots. I do plan on adjusting their lighting schedule to 24/7, as I'm worried about temps the next day or two. With lows in the mid 40's F, I don't want to take any chances! :peace:

Good evening folks! I'm afraid I've got some bad news. In my efforts to provide additional heat during the recent cold spell, I exposed the girls to too much light.... See the results for yourself. :nono:. :coffee2:

Day 13 update
The girls are looking much better today. After I burned them, I adjusted there light schedule to 16/8 so they can be better prepared for life outdoors. Here's a pic I took a little while ago. :toke:

Uhhh, slugs! I found a few munching on my Oriental Poppies yesterday. I put down some epsom salts for a deturrent. Seems to have worked so far. Slugs are not my usual problem, but this year has been really wet. What do you use for slug bait?
Also, any problem with aphids?
