Indoor Hope's perpetual Skyline grow

Once they stop growing vertically it’s time to change gears. Like you say, trying to grow buds not foliage lol
Stretch has just finished on mine and I had a light defoliate 2 days ago, removing 30 odd leaves off 2x5gallon girls on day 46 but it's still a bit leafy in there.
I used a SCROG on my last run and after seeing you guys dropping the hammer on your grows, I'm going to be brave and strip everything below the canopy not attached to a decent bud site. Like you say you want buds not foliage :toke:

im willing to try different things and see what works for me. I know a lot of people don’t do any defoliating and that’s ok to. Whatever works.

Wow. I've not got the confidence to cut that much off. I panic when I need to defol because I don't know what I'm doing.

Do you have a before picture? Give me an idea of how you do it.

Same to you @420autoflower do you have a before and after picture?

Cheers

Cheers mate. That looks amazing. Top job.

Did you do top them? Or let them grow naturally? Very even canopy.

I've been topping my plants for awhile now but with having the 4x4, plenty of height and increasing plant count to 10 with 8 liter pots I wonder if I should just let them grow naturally?

Thanks again for the pics.

I’ve topped and not topped. I didn’t see much difference in final yield. Topping, the side branch buds do get bigger. Not topping you get the big main cola. Kind of a wash. Might be a different story in bigger pots though.

No topping. I just bend the main top over and keep it horizontal for as long as I can. My goal is to get at least 8 main cola sites to reach the top of the canopy and keep them defoliated.
