So, I've decided to jar the buds tonight. After trimming off more stems, the dry weight ended up being 62.3 grams of buds, and 4.8 grams of popcorn. For my first go, there's no complaints coming outta this mouth! Now comes the cure...

Shouldv stuck em in brown bags...im gna hang one lr2 if it makes harvest...and get a big bag from primark to do the other one. compare the results...

The buds had more of a grassy/hay like smell yesterday, but not so much today. It's like the bud smell is making a comeback. Weird.

Yeah that smell is plant matter breaking down and being released with the water vapor. Burping for a week will help get rid of the smell. Also right now the buds have THCA which barely gets you high, over the next few days that's going to change to straight THC and you'll get super high lol

My TD went thru the same thing. At chop she had an incredible stink that took over my whole house. After the initial dry she had zero smell, only when I cracked a nug I'd get a wiff of the stink. After a week in the jar she had 100% of the smell back. After two weeks, the THCA was broken down and that's when I noticed a real kick to the high.. very psychoactive.

The smell is strain dependent though.. the BC had a crazy smell from the getgo, but then again she had no green to her which I'd guess means that she had less chlorophyll to break down.

Dont worry bro..with or without the packs ur buds will soften back up! Looking at the pics of your jars the buds are soo big there is def still plenty of moisture in em! I thought the same thing on my last harvest. My buds were very dry on the outside..about 2 weeks in they were all soft and squishy again....not dank but soft! And I didnt use any packs...soo trust me when I say ur good bro!

Yes bandit sounds like you have your cure in hand! Its the part I'm a bit nervous about, im going to try the paper bag method so we can contain notes. I'll be looking out for your new journal! I need to order my next lot of seeds, will have to be a quick one I'll need my tent free for bam slam haha!

A side by side comparison would be pretty tight. When you do that, hook me up with the results, if you don't mind, kind Sir! Nope, I've resisted sampling so far. Want to have a week or two cure on them before I do. I might even hold out for a month!

I love it that you did a TD, too! It's like a constant report of exactly what to expect, and look forward to. Like my own personal ganja based fortune teller.

Yeah, sadly this grow is coming to an end soon. I'll be wrapping it up once I've cured for a couple of weeks, and got some cured bud shots. It's cool, though. I'm soaking a bean right now, and mixing some perlite into my soil...
