New Grower Hope She's Gentle. It's My First Time! - Think Different

Bandit mine look all tuckered out just before lights out. She looks great. Those two leaves always look like that on mine. Now I don't know if there is anything wrong. But I will say is they should be just fine. You don't need those leaves anymore.

As for Scrog. I like to let tips come up through the scrog til I can tuck them under another line. Does that make sense? That way I control the direction of travel. I'd let the main come up about 2in or more and then slip it back under. You need a little bend in there to cause the plants hormones to signal a missing top. Thats what really activates the side branches to race up to become the new top.

I'd say at this point just tuck in the biggest fan leaves that block the most light from the branching.

She looks fine to me bro the drooping is part of the wet/dry cycle. I couldn't see any clawing in the pics but I wouldn't worry about it unless it was like a 90 degree angle which would mean Nitrogen toxicity. You're good man and it looks like you got the 80 day pheno congrats!!

Good lookin' out, Jayar. I'll monitor what I thought was clawing, which I am now thinking it wasn't, and if necessary, take the steps to cut back on Nitrogen

The tips on SCRoG make perfect sense, and are much appreciated, roark! Also, thanks for setting my mind at ease,, bro

Send out a cry for help, and assistance always comes through. Another one of the many things I really love about this site.

I agree; my gals often droop like that after watering . Under-watered, and they have a very limp and almost puckered look to them. They should spring back up shortly.
You definitely want to step up the water, though, at least 15 or 20% run off, and be sure they have time to dry out in between.:coffee2:
It may just be the lighting, but in one of those pics it looked like you may have some yellowing between the veins starting on your top growth?
Looking good, Brother!:peace:

I agree with literally everything you said here. Mine were notorious for doing that a couple hours before lights out at right about the time they started flowering, once they were in full flower they stopped doing it. And with the scrog I completely agree that you want to let them come through, get enough distance to travel to the next square, and put them in it, let them grow, move them again, that way you're constantly opening up the middle of the plant and allowing the maximum amount of light to get to the lower portions of the branch.

How often do you water? I'm thinking that with a good amount of run off, she should probably go three maybe four days between watering/feedings. Remember that it's better to under water, it's hard to let her go that long because you always want to be doing something to "help" I know, haha. Sometimes the best thing you can do for her is just let her sit, don't touch anything!

I think she looks great man, she will be a beast in no time! So what is your plan when you have the carpet put in? Do they have to run the carpet into your closet? I'm assuming you have a plan for this :Sharing One:

Yeah, in between the veins, it's getting light green, and that's one of the things that had me worried. I realized that 2 liters is no longer enough for her, so the next watering I am gonna kick it up a notch, and make sure there is that 15-20% runoff that I should be getting.

Before today, the last time I watered her was on the 4th. I checked the soil today and it was very dry, so I gave her a drink, but not enough to get the amount of runoff that I should be getting, which I will definitely do next time.
I'm thinking about telling them to just let the old carpet stay in here until we leave, but if my fiancé doesn't go for that, which she probably won't, the day they are supposed to come through, in the morning, I will move the cabinet to the balcony, and stand guard over her like a secret service agent until they are done, no matter how long that may be.

Man, I really appreciate you guys coming through and clearing things up for me. I really do. That is one of the many things that makes this the best grow site out there. AFN, and it's members, are 2nd 2 None all day, everyday.

Day 27
Temp Range: 77.5° - 83.8°
Humidity Range: 41% - 50%

Wzup, folks? Hope everything is all good. I'm new to this, I know, but I really feel that something just isn't right with my girl. I just can't put my finger on it, but something is going on. I've posted some pics of what I think look like the issues she's having. Please feel free to state your opinions as to what it is you think needs to be done to correct whatever it is that is going on, if anything at all.

The wilted twisted look appears to be heat stress, unless I'm mistaken the dicoloration looks like zinc deficiency which I've read is more common in high heat grows. I could be wrong though, I'd wait to hear from others.

Thanks for chiming in, Medi. I'm stressin' over here! Are you referring to the yellowing between the veins, or the yellow and brown leaf tips? I thought of heat stress, for the curling, but the temps have actually been down a bit lately, as opposed to what they were a few days back. Not saying that that's not the issue, though. It's just weird that the heat started getting too her now that I've dropped the temps a bit. Any idea on the clawing? I am getting ready to follow this http://www.growweedeasy.com/zinc-deficiency-cannabis for the zinc issue. Glad you confirmed that, because after reading the guide, I was thinking zinc might be an issue too

Hey bandit, from the looks of it medi has it diagnosed. I don't think it is from heat though, 83 isn't that bad. I see temps hit the 90s pretty consistent in my room with no problems. I think your pH is probably too high and that will cause some twisting as well. The drooping is from lack of water which will also cause your pH to rise. Try not to let your soil dry out, this is important because it stresses the plant, raises the pH and causes fluctuations in the availability of nutrients. Keep the soil moist and that will probably solve most of your problems.

For the zinc problem, once you get your pH back down it should clear up. You can always foliar feed with a chelated zinc product until then and it will help correct that issue. You can pick up chelated zinc at most of the major box stores.
