It's real simple, but i'll give you a blow by blow of how I do it.
1. I cut the branches off the plant. Like I would if she were a big girl and going into paper bags. Too big too dry whole.
2. From that pile I cut off all the fans. I do that so the fans can either be fed to the worms or done something else with them.
3. I take that pile and clean up all the buds. Kind of down and dirty and get it done quick. Now if she has really frosty sugar leaves, I try to leave most of them.
4. I then buck off all the buds and then place them in one gallon bags . I fill the bags with enough buds for one shake. I do this so that I can be cooling one bag in the ice chest with the dry ice while I am doing a round of shake. This makes it real easy to break up the bud while still in the bag. I will lose maybe half a hit with the trichomes attached to the side of the bag. The bud is all ready for shaking
With dry ice, give the material the time to reach close to the ice temperature. I like the ice down first, a layer of cannabis and then top it off with ice and let it sit.
