Old Reviews HLG Diablo QB

Is that a 260w or is it a 325w? I ask because it appears that they’re getting like 160 W plus out of each board on that new 650W fixture.

Its the 260w kit. Its really about 250w because thats the output of the driver they recommend. That new 650w fixture looks intense. 1700ppf @ 24 inches :yoinks:

I'm going to order a couple of these boards to swap out for my China boards in a couple weeks. I just ordered the Hlg 360 elite! It will be here Monday :coffee: I just checked the tracking and the light is in my town but wont be delivered till monday! :cuss:

I was thinking that someone like the Migro guy who does such things tested the HLG 65, 100, and 135 Rspec, IIRC, the 135 was actually pulling a bit over 150 W from the wall. My recollection is that the 100 W was pulling about 100 W and the 65 was pulling more like 72 or 73. If your numbers are correct, then it sounds like these new boards can handle a bit more juice than the ones that they were replacing. We know that 650 is running hot because it specifically designed to replace a double ended thousand watt H ID light, whereas I recall that the 550 was designed to replace a single ended thousand watt light if there is such a thing. We know these newer QBs are flamethrowers and this one seems to be more so

Yeah they are rated for 5000ma and 56v+

HLG is a great company with a bomb product. They are a bit pricey but I feel like if you have taken the time to find them, you already know what your looking for. I have tje 65 4k for my 2x2 tent and that lil mf is great for veg.
