Indoor High Temps ... NLBB & Bubblelicious ....

8 weeks ... NLxBB ... High temp ... 94.6*

I have to say that these were a great pair to grow together ... both are 31" at their tallest point w/ their main canopies 4" below ... sure glad I went w/ the bigger light cause these buds are as hard as pine cones ... almost no smell from either plant. Currently using a space of 2'x3.5' w/ 368 watts of LED ... about 50 watts per square foot ...

Amen brother atrain,Chester is the master oven grower, damn those are nice.Peace

I have harvested twice this year in 90 to 95 degree temps in the grow room. I have three fans going in each 5x4 area. An exhaust fan as well. Two 600 watt HPS lights at 50% (digital ballast). When in veg, the heat is not too terrible on the plants as long as there is ample air circulation. Its the flowering phase when the plants seem to suffer the most in the 90 plus temps. Lower yields, airy buds, and the potency is effected as well. I have 5 pineapple chunks, 5 THC Bombs, Vanilla Kush, and couple clones in flower stage now. The THC Bomb seems to be handling the heat the best. Sativa strains will do better in the heat, but not conducive with the turn around rate I am looking for. The next batch I grow will be harvested in December and will flower in 55 to 75 degree temps . That time frame and temp range is perfect for Indica in my opinion and based on past experience.
Your plants look healthy bro.

Your plants are definately looking better than mine! Mine look so bad I'm not even updating my grow journal with pics! Just hoping to get a little bit of smoke and will immediately start with new pots...the 1 gal airpots just can't hold enough water/nutrients for a plant imo. My last 1 gal grows were so much better with regular pots. So Chester, when are you expecting harvest time on these babies? I guess you are about 8 weeks now?

If it makes you feel better Spiker here's a pic of last summer's Blue Mystic grow at 8 weeks ... this grow is going better for two reasons ... 4 gal nursery pot and started CalMag at about 10 days and have kept it up ....

Thanks Chester...I will post some pics tonight....maybe help someone learn what not to do. I have a 3 gal airpot I'm going to try a single plant in once these finish up. I'll probably have to harvest the current ones when they become near death rather than wait for a specific look or maturity level. LOL

A 3 gal airpot will make a world of difference ... nothing wrong w/ the soil you're using as long as you add perlite ... soil doesn't have to be quite as loose in an airpot and you know what a problem it can be when they dry too fast ... I expect to harvest these inside of 3 weeks ... temps have gotten hot again ... upper 90's daily ... pistils just beginning to turn amber at 8 weeks ... I think the Soil & Flower tab combo adds a couple weeks to the grow ... I'll look forward to joining you on your next grow ...
