Micro growing is a challenge in itself! Good luck, i'm sure you'll find lots of cool people to help out on the adventure!!

 

[A couple Growers]

I grow in a contained space in the winter(54"longX16"deep X 34" high) and have fun with it. Grow 8 strains at a time in 7" square pots using SoG style growing.

What is your average yield on the plants (both each and total).

Thanks to you! Micro growing is a challenge for sure, but we are just enjoying our time with it until we do something a bit more substantial like try to get an ounce or two off of a 2 liter bottle. We have already found a ton of cool people and we've heard there is one person in particular who will help us with our eventual goal of growing a DWC pounder (We heard @derek420colorado is the man and a legend around here).

I am rocking 3 cheapo (old mars and populargrow) 100X3w LED's in the space...pulling 1.5oz average per plant using on purpose stunting to keep plant size down(usually works) . Love growing 5-8 strains at a time.

hi guys and welcome to afn. derek is definately the man for the job on the dwc. theres also a guy by the name of mr sparkle that does some incredible stuff inside a pc stack. i tried a 250ml bonzai once but had to kill it due to beasties. ive heard rumours that someone on here can grow weed in a shot glass aswell but ive never found him unfortunately. tag me up when you get a journal up for that one, id looooove to see that !

wow! We have a friend who can grow what we call "budsicles" and that looks like one. We were investigating a bunch of different ones and if we could either grow one decent dwc, or as you said 7 strains, we could have a constant supply. We just think it would be fun to grow a pounder some day.

derek does some amazing things! We will have to check out this mr sparkle person! We know one of us is able to grow 1 ounce plants in a 2 litre if done right, so luckily some small growing is possible, but hopefully we can be those people who can teach people to grow in shot glasses... I know solo cups can be done, but a shot glass just seems more fun.
We have a journal just not posted updates, but we will be doing that today

aww @912GreenSkell well done ma man! i found him and thats just seriously made my day! you can indeed grow some pretty good lookin bush in a shot glass. learn something new every day eh lol.

We made some brownies the other day and got super stoned. One of us slept for 73 hours straight and missed work... Oops! We have been having too much fun to get much done. That is cool to see a shotglass grower, we can't seem to be keeping it alive, growth has stalled so its the inevitably that it'll die. One seed is worth the try, can always plant a clone in there some day.
We don't have a good outdoor space yet and it's going on winter in our hemisphere. We got a full set up tent and all which is similar to the set up one of the people we saw here has. So we hope to get a pounder off of at least one plant in the future, our goal is to grow once a year for the yield so we have enough to last a while anf then grow some flavorful strains.
