She doing great day 6, I thought she looked kinda small but I'm not sure. First round with autos. Opinions? I have my light cycle set to 20/4.

So I changed up my sip system a little bit. I feel this is much better and cleaner.

Ah that's pretty cool. I think I have a total of 15 dollars for everything I used. Not bad. The only thing I see that may bug me is having to cut those roots that will come out the bottom.
I've got it sitting on metal screen , hoping when the roots grow I can simply spin the pot to purne the roots. Idk I'll see how that works.

Yeah, I was wondering how you'd deal with those. Can't you just add more sand?
 
No, the bottom of the pot will be a bit more moist than the rest of the soil. The roots will grow through the fabric, following the water. Only way to keep roots from growing in the sand is to prune ever so often via metal screen I hope.
