It seems to be more specific to autos grown under GLH LEDs, especially when grown in soil less media. I never had a need for extra cal/mag when I grew under HPS. But it's a common deficiency so not a bad idea to keep some on hand. I think the dosage is 1 tsp. per gallon. Have to check the label.

Didn't know you were using RO. I do believe you need it with that. I don't use RO so you might want to check with someone else to be sure.

Muddy is right. With RO it's a must. I even have to use it with my well water, PPM as low as 7.

OK. I read the bottle of the SensiCal Mg Mix 4-0-0 It says 2ml per liter converted into imperial is like 6 teaspoons for my 4 gallons of water. How much water should I give 5 plants in 5gallon tall pots? I use about a gallon for all five plants, but I do not seem to get any run off. Is this not enough? Too much? I try to wate about every 2-3 days.

I would have some cal/mag on hand, chances are you will need it. These lights seem to increase the nutrient uptake in general, especially the cal/mag. What are you growing them in, soil? Also, is that a 2010 model or a 2011?

Set your light about 18 - 20" during veg and then lower it to about 12 - 16 in flower.

I'm thinking about choosing soil or hempty..2011 180v2 with the new psus. Do you spray the cal/mag on the plant?

No, the cal/mag is added to your water when you feed them.

I believe you are the first person here using that model. It will be very interesting to watch and see how it does for you. I expect it should do well.

Most people seem to have opted for the 240 and 290 watt models. As long as you keep your light at the proper height you shouldn't have any issues with it. 18 - 24" during veg and 12 - 16" during flower.

Meant to ask, how big is your grow area?
