Most people seem to have opted for the 240 and 290 watt models. As long as you keep your light at the proper height you shouldn't have any issues with it. 18 - 24" during veg and 12 - 16" during flower.
You should do well then with that light in that size space. The core penetration area for that light is 1.5 x 1.8' and they do best when growing with in the core, so you should be good. My 240 watt unit is in a 5 sq. ft. area, so I'm getting 48 watts per sq. ft. You've got 4 sq. ft. and will be getting 45 watts per sq. ft. Mine does a great job so I expect yours will as well. Do you have the inside walls lined with reflective material or painted white?
ill speak for the blackstars to the effect that i bought 4 240w panels so they are GREAT. started out with 1 small 90w and kept moving up as i got some extra cash and started growing more.

"I'm a ninja, I'm a hoodie ninja" lol, sorry got the song stuck in my head..i wanna get the 240 or just wait for the new ones to come out.. Decisions, decisions, decisions lol..but I'm going to wait another month I haven't had any luck with the 2011 glh.. Thanks ninja!! How much cal mag do you feed your plants?
I'm finding that the two 240 watters in my 3 x 4' space aren't quite enough, so am thinking of adding a 3rd one. I still prefer my GLH. Growth is better and the buds are bigger and tighter than with the Blackstars.
