Hecno's on going organics

:pass: G'Day Hec'! ....yeah, I like to see how the plants form up too,... it's the "purist" in us-.... but I think I'm kinda over it now... We all love big fat main cola's, but after the constant fight against the fekkin' mold each season, and nearly every main getting hit to various degrees, I'm looking to do more topping, and reduce the bud mass/size... it seems the smaller lateral colas fare better for this, but still have that quality level we love so! It's a late start for me here, as the opportunity to grow a few outside has just opened up- :yay:- so I'll assess the girls as they form up for topping,... probably going to run 7 gal only, so size won't be that big,.. we'll see! But for sure they all will get their legs shaved clean down low! ....

Ahh, that's right, they weren't in full day's Sun either,... a big impact that has,.... but the tell is the in the fan leaves, they were in "too good" of shape .... up'ing the P is easy with batpoo's, etc.,.. it's the K that's tough to get up high... Wood ash is great, but so alkaline! Here is where a dash of synthetic/salt based could be beneficial....

Mate, next seed order you can do, look into Sweet F1FV strains! Perfect for short season I bet.... That Green Poison will finish bloom in 5 weeks! DP Think Fast is also a fast version, and very good, right up your Sativa loving alley- :greenthumb:

:yoinks: -- whaaaahh?? Sell your place- :eek1:... after all you've poured into it, that soil, the plants, the infrastructure you've built,... I can see the lure of more land, and better Sun,... but it must be killing you to think of leaving the rest behind! ..only if they stuff you to collapse with $$$$ :hump:

@Waira me old mate , To me I have a very go reason . I am disillusioned with the world , The food we get is shit , The government here are @#$% wits . They should have to have a degree in History as they do not learn from past , and that is not going to change . I do fear for the world my children will have to live in , So I want to create a place for them to enjoy latter in life and when grand kids come along some where they can be close to nature and run around instead of being stuck in in a electronic world . I want to have beef , chickens - pigs - That taste the way the should . I won't be off grid , but close to it . Hard work doe's not bother me , I enjoy it . Both myself and wife have old time skills ,-- Preserving - butchering - smoking [ food ] gardening - ect . I am also lucky as my wife is not one to worry about the next best thing . She shops in second hand cloths shops , goes to markets and finds things , We aim to lower our foot print on planet earth , I am not saying every one should do it , It is just a path we want to go down . @Jraven @robbio I know you guys will understand . Here a to books worth reading . First one I read 35 years ago .--- Alvin Toffler - Future Shock , 2nd Antony Funnell -- The Future and [HASHTAG]#related[/HASHTAG] nonsense . Both interesting reading .

I understand completely pal. It's a fine path to pursue...it seemed like you were creating a little paradise there but I sure understand the need to get a little farther away from the madness. I've got that part out here though I wish we could be 100% self-sufficient. Sounds like our wives would get along well. Mine has always been able to make our pathetic income last till the next season!:smoking:

I do understand,i have 90 acres ,i can,t do all that needs to be done anymore but not for the lack of trying.LOLI had to give up my tractor a while back, can,t crawl around under the fucker anymore. But thats ok i getting to old to work that hard anyway. We had cattle for a long time .I had to sell all my equipment after my last neck surgery. That fucking bulldozer really did a number on my body.Land is always a good ideal for sure.I live far enough out nobody wants to come come screw with me As long as i can grow my shit and be left alone.Man i am so glad you are looking at some land. How much an acre going for in your neck of the woods.Good for you bud.Show some pics when you find a place you like.Peace pleace

Found a niffty idea for sprouting seeds , I gave it ago . I placed seeds at random and the idea is if you set the seeds right the tap root grows straight down , it is in a cd cover stood up .[
some tomatoes , And at @robbio around 20 acres , depending on water available .

This is why I so highly value fine folken like yourself Hec', you and your family are all-important counterweight on the other side of the scales! :clapper: :thanks:.... I can proudly say I'm not one of those peep's that has my head lodged up the jack-hole of some multi-phone play toy to the point of social retardation!...... keep up the Good Fight dear brother,.. I might be moving in someday! :frog:...."smoking"- - meats and herbs, at the same time preferably! I got me a hankering for ribs, might have to get busy on that tomorrow.... I've not seen the patented Hecno stuffed and grilled cabbage in ages! I have to try that still, but I have done smaller wedges on the barbie basted with mustard/beer butter-- deee-lish! ....
