Hecno's on going organics

Well guys , I fucked up my fish tank , It goes like this - I needed to top up my tank as it was getting low , now just that day - 2 days ago - I was given some nice hash oil , ya see where we are going here . So being the greedy little pig I am I had to much and the mind wandered off , yep you guessed it I forgot about the tank till 3 am in the morning . Oh no , so I go to check it and it over flowed for like for 9 hours and all my fish where dead . :doh: Not to worry , I will see stock it this weekend and I will not be growing for 3 weeks so I have time to get it settled , :smokeit:

Oh no what a disaster, what sort of fish were they?

@DOA Like these , Guppies , they do well in the tropics and breed up fast , to the extent that I have to cull them at times .

I bet I could get some fingerling tilapia and raise them in a big old watering trough or an old claw foot tub. Those little fuggers grow real fast!

It's hard to get full eating hands full guppies. :oops1:

@WildBill as got the right idea.
I bet y'all have some good tropical eating fish there to run in your tanks.

Unless you're a vegan.
:shrug::grin::baked::cheers:

I think I got the idea with the tilapia many years ago from an article I read in Mother Earth, I believe. I think it was from practices in the Philippines or somewhere else in Asia.
I had a little 5 acre tank that I built and stocked from my own fishing. I really almost exclusively used it on growing my tomatoes. I was a bit obsessive in my tomatoes!:biggrin::hump::haha:
I did use it on a small stand of sweet corn 1 season. Corn uses a hell of a lot of water so it really wasn't worth the extra effort in my opinion.
It's kinda crazy though. I guess the nutrients are pretty readily available, because you do see a reaction to watering with the fish poop water.

@MossyThanks - @WildBill -- Here where I live Tilapia are a category 3, 5, 6 and 7 restricted invasive fish under the Biosecurity Act 2014 (the Act). They must not be kept, fed, given away, sold, or released into the environment. A permit to deal with tilapia maybe given in limited circumstances. The reason I like Guppies is they are easy to look after and breed up fast , As some of you will know fish water is high in beneficial microbes which keeps the microbe herd at good levels in the soil , which is important to me .

Ohh yeah! Guppies definitely grow very quickly and reproduce quite a bit! I raised them as a kid. You can have lots of generations pretty quickly. Easy to breed For certain characteristics!
I kinda thought there might be a possibility of tilapia being restricted. It can be quite invasive!

I went fishing last weekend and got a bucket full of guppies , The hardest part was finding a small enough hook to catch them . but they are happy in there new home , Now dried and a bit of cure I tried the CKMT x CKMT - not sure about smell as I have not come across it before , I tried it with a mate and we both could taste a bit of lemon and a earthy - compost smell but in a very good way , The high was not what I am used too , but again very good , I will be smoking it when I come home after work and want to do nothing , which is not often so it will last me a while . :jointman:

Now for the Mango Haze x Z99 . This is what I like , Smell is divine I could sniff the jar all day long , very clean fruity smell and a nice lingering after taste , The high is motivational with a bit of chill factor , just my cup of tea . I will be growing this again . :mrgreen:
