Okay,

So what happens when your board at work and notice a hydroponic store across the street? Well you go check it out of course. Well several hours of talking and 3 trips later you find your self invested $1300 and starting a small grow operation in your basement. We didn't even start looking at seeds yet.... but my wife is smoker and I'm a joker so it kind of works out. :smoking::biggrin:.

Well on with the details. I found a makeshift template while creeping the forums so Ill give it go. Im going to add pictures as well. These are of our babies at 7 days and 14 days. We are going into the 3rd week right now.

If there are any details your curious about feel free to ask.

I wanted to tag @bushmasterar15 from my intro post. But as a first follow up on some of the info I had lost before. We already lost 1 seed and seem to be having a hard time with germination. We have starter plugs but there is lot of mixed info on the subject. Whether to use plain balanced water or weak nutrients, how much water to put in the starter plug tray, should we cover the tray or leave it in grow light or in a separate room all together? We will keep experimenting I guess. Well I will follow up with an update next weekend. Thanks everyone for the warm welcome so far.

I haven't used starter plugs (root riot, etc.) Mine I've normally just soaked 24hrs and when they pop tail they go direct into my pots as I've never done hydro. As far as LST you can try the clothespin method it's what I do as it's easier for me and you can move, adjust as needed.

That is great. First time Ive seen this method. And it would be much easier with our open water table vs trying to run strings across the whole thing. Thanks a million for that idea!
