Indoor Harvesting in stages??

I regularly chop the top colas and leave the bottom 2/3rd of the plant to go an extra week. lower buds grow visibly during this time so its definitely extra weight if you can wait I usually find that whilst top colas can be showing amber trichs and appear ready the further down the plant you go the more clear trichs you will discover. Let them fatten up a little and turn cloudy unless you are looking for a cerebral high

Agree with all of the above :thumbs: I've started harvesting in stages on strains that I haven't grown before. That way I can get a little sample at each stage and see where exactly I like it. Plus, you get to see the lower buds fatten up a bit

I had to give it a try cause my medicine was almost out. No problems with it over here either. Good luck let me know whick strain and what stage was the best. Maybe one day I will come across that strain. One Love

I considered doing this with my rrf I am about to harvest. I didn't want to though because I wanted to trim and take pictures to hopefully have a chance getting nominated into autoflower of month lol and I didn't know if it would hurt my chances

I think tapering your harvest is the only way to make sure all the buds are perfectly ripe. Cannabis buds ripen in stages, like tomatoes. You wouldn't try to pick all the tomatoes from a plant at once, right? However, many growers would rather harvest all at once so they can get new plants going. It is preciseness vs efficiency.

I also like to harvest in stages because it spreads out the manicuring work. It's nice not to be rushed.

Yeah got green I havea journal going I'm not sure how to link but search for short stuff freebie first grow journal. The other dayi put up day 50 pics. My shortest one I'm thinking about taking down soon just started flush. I'm working on better camera but if u can look and see if u can tell if I should take the cola down. There will be a top cola shoton there thatlooks most done u can see.
