Indoor Growtogrow inside grow and part time breeding.

Okay did a lot of work with these girls over the last few weeks and I'm winning every single day almost completely clear all five plant actually all six plant we're counting the one also it's in the greenroom so as you've been reading I've been treating with all kinds of stuff green lacewing larvae Azmax Captain Jack's Wipeout hydrogen peroxide and water neems oil alcohol and water mild dish soap in this case I used Dawn antibacterial dish soap that is what I had on hand.
All of it seems to be working these pics were took this morning. I found one Speck of powdery mildew on the chem berry diesel in The Green Room.
I'm happy to report I have seen no adult spider mites or aphids in about a week and a half now maybe two very happy to report that the only thing that I have seen is some powdery mildew. And that's okay I can still deal with that and I can kill it I'm killing everything and I'm doing it mostly naturally I think if I have this problem again that I do have the proper cures now and the right way to go about it naturally the alcohol water soap really works well on spider mites I'm still out on the powdery mildew but it seems to lesson its severity after I've sprayed upon it the plants don't seem to mind it and that's really what I was worried about. I have no idea if it works on the aphids. Cuz I have not seen an adult aphid in 2 weeks for sure nor have I seen any of their eggs in at least a week and a half the adult spider mites also it's been about a week and a half since I've seen one moving but I have seen their eggs. I will continue treating with the alcohol and hydrogen peroxide mixes until I'm for sure have eradicated everything. I also will spray with the hydrogen peroxide and water mix and I'm thinking about adding a tiny bit of soap to that just so it spreads on better as a preventative from here on out.
I hope not to have to go back to pesticides ever again the plants are looking Lush and beautiful and the damage that was on them is rapidly becoming a thing of the past all is good in the growing Hood.[emoji482]

Group pic first second pic the samango and its leaves on top and underneath the next Plant will be the blueberry plant leaves and underneath and the last plant is the Hawaiian Maui waui those three plants were infested the most with bugs the chocolate mint OG and Afghan Kush only seem to have had a little bit of the powdery mildew. The chocolate mint OG had more powdery mildew than the Hawaiian Maui waui. The p.m. completely clear now the chocolate mint OG I have not spotted p.m. on it at all recently. When the lights come on I will start searching and then spray again with hydrogen peroxide tonight just before the lights turn off. [emoji482]

LoL
forgive my ignorance bro, i know nothing of bugs (thankfully!) - all that booze doing the trick? :drunks:
LoL I hope they're just getting drunk and falling off and dying that be kind of cool
I don't know I read about it online and I experimented with it it's working the alcohol water and soap is definitely working on the spider mites. The green lacewing larvae work on the aphids the spider mites not so much but did work some. I still had a lot of spider mites I think after the green lacewing larvae went into their little cocoons or whatever they do in between larvae and adult. But again I don't know if it works on the powdery mildew or not but it seems to lesser it's affect that's for sure and there's hardly any on the plants whatsoever since I started using it. It seems to be a good preventative right now plants don't seem to mind it and that's good. When I use the hydrogen peroxide and water mix the plants really love it so that's the p.m. cure and the alcohol and water is a spider mite cure the aphid cure well if I never get them again will be fine with me so I don't have to know LOL but I've got a handle on it all now and I got some pretty good ideas on how to fight them so if it comes down again and I get infestation like I had earlier this year inside or out these three preventative and cures will definitely work for me so I can stay all natural I really hate using chemicals even natural ones.[emoji482]

your endurance through your bug problems is a credit mate, not sure i'd have the perseverance! even more so to experiment with natural remedies...

like i say, thankfully my little cupboard hasn't experienced bugs yet, but you're doing some great stuff here dude that'll help someone in the future no doubt.

Thanks a lot Froot n Fuel[emoji481][emoji482]
Well I hope no one will have to use these preventative or remedies but they work to a certain extent and that's a good thing.[emoji482]

Well yesterday I spray with the hydrogen peroxide and I tried it with a little bit of Dawn antibacterial soap in it.
I went down a few hours after I sprayed and everything looked fine so I looked underneath the leaves to see what I could see and I found some dead I think they were spider mites and possibly a couple of adult aphids I didn't see any of these moving so I'm assuming either dead or stunned I don't know which? The spider mite looking blob certainly didn't resemble alive adult spider mite it looked like it was swelled up and basically split open. I try looking at it underneath the 60 power microscope but I just couldn't make out any details of it but it did look like it might have been a spider mite.
So it seem I'll have to keep spraying as I do probably until I take this crop is in.
I really don't have time this winter grow season to dismantle my room and thoroughly clean it again. I got to keep these girls going I have people that depend on their medicine.
So I'll have to keep them clean all the time and be an extra vigilant Farmer at least for the next six or seven months.

As my mom used to say no rest for the wicked LOL.

So the alcohol and water mix worked on spider mites but I don't think it worked on the powdery mildew the jury still out but when I was searching around on the chocolate mint OG and I know I sprayed her very well every time I've sprayed it with the alcohol that I still found about six or seven leaves yesterday that had spots of powdery mildew on them and some spots were pretty big and it definitely grew since I had sprayed the night before. I don't think it worked on the powdery mildew so we know now that the alcohol and water soap is only good for the spider mites and possibly the aphid Young it didn't seem to bother the flying adults that were on top of the pot soil.
The little rocks that I put on top of the other pots have held those Gant back so I'll go down today and purchase another bag of little rocks of the Gant deterrent and make sure and get all of my pots covered with the little rocks.
As I said before I really don't like using this kind of stuff because I can't feel the soil. I don't know what the consistency of the soil is before I water.
It's just one of those pet peeve things that I do as a cannabis farmer and its really messes with me.[emoji52][emoji482]

So these are pics of what I found underneath the leaves that I couldn't distinguish really what bug they were.
The lights don't come on for another 3 hours and a half so at that time I'll go down and check to see what I got down there today I'm all out of alcohol right now so I'll have to go and purchase some more alcohol luckily alcohol and hydrogen peroxide are pretty cheap at right around $0.90 a quart for either or it's not a bad deal and it mixes up pretty much the same so it really doesn't bother me and the plants like it that I can deal with. [emoji1]
So off I go back to the front.[emoji35]
Oh My God thanks for viewing LOL[emoji44][emoji122][emoji12][emoji482]

Hey y'all[emoji481][emoji482][emoji90][emoji150][emoji100]

Well pretty happy to say that got a handle on them again most of fungus and the bugs are all but gone[emoji104] After inspection today I hardly found any eggs so few far and in-between I'm not sure if I seen them or not but I will continue to spray as a deterrent to all three when needed and regularly each week.[emoji44][emoji13][emoji12]

I have really good news today.
So yesterday night I noticed that we had flowers starting very nice to see flowers.[emoji106]

That's only five days from flip I flipped them on the 27th yesterday was the 1st wow

The samango has the most but they all have them the Afghan Kush is huge she must be at least. 6ft in one direction 4ft in the other.
She's clearly going to be one of my bigger plants that have grown inside.
She is Afghan Kush from World of seeds breeders. I've had this package of seeds now for about 3 years maybe and all the Afghan kush's that I've grown out of that pack of seeds have been monsters. With yields of a pound or more inside n Outside 2 pounds is no problem of quality smoke.
The Somango not sure how this one will turn out. The last one but I grew was outside I've never grown one inside don't know what to expect really all the bud sites and all the leaves though on this plant and it's not a clone are much smaller everywhere the one I grew outside is my avatar it grew completely different than this plant and they all came out of the same package of seeds.
It could be due to stress could be due to lack of nutrition at one point or another in its life cuz I kept this plant alive all summer as I've said before when I keep a plant alive and don't plan to flower it for a long time I don't give it only but what it needs to live until I'm ready to grow her all the way out. The same as I would keep a mother plant.
So to keep them small they end up looking kind of ratty before I start growing them and preparing them for flowering [emoji482]

plants looking really good,i think you winning  the bugs is tricky cause there can be many stages of them egg, young, adult, diggers, crawlers and flyers.and then could have killed the flyers n crawlers, but have to wait for eggs to hatch to get the oppertunity of killing them to.guess its a war not a battle.
good luck n keep er lit.

Hey y'all [emoji106][emoji481][emoji482]
Well I broke down today and made an executive decision.[emoji44] Decided I was going to pop some seeds so it's beans Ahoy for me.

So there was a discussion about how to germinate beans this is one of the ways I do it I do a lot of different ways this is just one good way.

So I picked these out.

Aurora Indica Nirvana. Mostly indica 7 to 9 weeks flower time

Blue Dream Humboldt Seeds. Hybrid mostly sativa 8 to 9 weeks flower time

Blues UGORG hybrid 50/50 8 to 9 weeks flower time

Bubba Kush my own seed from.
2017 inside grow pre 98 strain. Hybrid 50/50 8 to 9 weeks flower time

Candy cream seedsman. Mostly indica 7 to 9 weeks flower time

Early Skunk seedsman mostly sativa 89 weeks flower time

Exodus cheese seedsman. Mostly sativa 8 to 9 weeks flower time

Jack Herer seedsman. Hybrid 50/50 8 to 9 weeks flower time

White Widow seedsman. 50/50 hybrid 50/50 7 to 8 weeks flower time

So I take coffee filters put the beans in them label them fold them up so that the bean stays down at the very bottom put a little piece of tape on it so it holds it together and then stick all your coffee filters with their beans and labels on them and your tape on and stick them some warm water and let sit for 24 hours.

cool germinating technique! Haven't seen a lot of Seedsman strains, this will will be interesting.
I use a baking soda solution on PM that wants to set up shop on the stems. It will burn pistols so I try to shield buds from over spray. First I remove leaves with PM, and keep bottom of plants open to good air flow. If I spy a speak on sugar leaf at base of bud I remove leaf and with backing soda solution on my fingers wash down stem at base of bud. I've used baking soda successfully on stem rot with repeated applications. Bud Rot and PM are with me every year, I rely on close and constant inspection to get me through. Fortunately bugs haven't been a major problem in the greenhouse.
