New Grower Growing while in extreme pain - My Journey so far

Came to the right place for advice honestly got some of the nicest, kind growing folks on the planet on here ,I to am in pain on a regular basis and depend on cannabis majorly so I understand the importance of growing medicine properly.I have found most skunk strains to be high in cbd ,but also THC all cheese strains are pheno types of skunk #1 ,a classic and one of the first indoor originals so its made to grow indoors.I also suffer from depression and anxiety and talk about a reliever ,ironically my first toy box smelled of the number #1 ,so fond memories of skunk is all I got

Also my folks have been growing this strain called franks gift it is amazing for pain ,it is clone only but I hope some awesome breeder turns it into a auto or some feminized seeds ,it is a skunk ,haze cross ,has almost sweet grapefruit taste like a haze I love it actually and often smoke for the flavor also .

I would also recommend checking into the soluble trio that is made for the flowering stage, cha-ching beastie bloomz and open sesame they are called.semi expensive but you use very very little so it will last quite a long time. ...specially with autos taking no more than half strength usually.
I went a head and ordered some on your reccomendation. you weren't kidding it isn't cheap. But if you say it will work for a long while then I will definitely be using it fora long while.

I have a single cheese feminized photo seed that i'll have to try since it seems to have such good properties.
I remember reading about skunk #1 as well as lowryder. I do want to try lowryder just for the giggles of it.

I strongly believe pain and depression go together and I think that marijuana is an amazing thing!

I'm going to add it to my list, I think I have about 100 strains now to try. Maybe I can convince someone to try and make an auto for it

You can decide for yourself after you've grown, but here is where I differ from the people using these kind of nutes. IMO, all those expensive "bud enhancers" and special "big bud nutes" are bogus and a waste of money. nutrient companies don't get sued over them because they put just enough NPK in them that you can't say they do nothing. At one time, they were putting some very potent hormones in these products, but they were eventually banned for plant use.until someone shows me a controlled experiment with side by side tests, I will continue to call them bullshit. No one has proved it yet!
but.. but..but...now we'll get anecdotal "evidence" saying they do work. Well, all I will say further on this is, do your homework! The reason they don't work is you can't force feed a plant. Adding extra nutrients that plants are known to use during flowering won't make them grow anything bigger!
Plants take in what they need, as they need it and adding these "enhancers" is one of the causes of "salt" build up during flowering. They also won't hurt if used at low doses, so you may as well use what you bought.
Realize, I'm not trying to discourage you, only steer you down a path based on science and fact. Be aware however, I've been told right here on this forum, that science doesn't trump anecdotal evidence because Joe's uncle's cousin's friend once grew the world's largest bud using Bud Exploder............

Here's another myth to beware of:
https://www.autoflower.org/threads/vitamin-b1-for-plants-a-myth.48134/

Now you're beginning to see why I'd hoped to steer you onto an organic path, no mixing, measuring, ph tests, ppm or EC are irrelevant, etc. Mush less complicated!
But done, right, using manufactured nutrients can and will grow great weed! The two biggest mistakes new growers make are over feeding and over watering.

If you are considering getting a book on growing Cannabis, I highly recommend Read Spear's: Cannabis cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques for Huge Indoor Yeilds.

Unlike Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal, Read isn't afraid to call BS on garden myths, he spells out the scientific reasons why they can't/don't work:

If I had a controller indoor environment, I would love to do a comparison grow using base nutes and enhancers, coupled along with photo clones. But alas no space for that.(not to mention foxfarm is not available in cannada anymore)

Very good read. I have had everything come but the filter today, plus one of my seeds sprouted and is just about to start showing its first leaves :). So it took a while to set up the new space (about 4 hours since it was my first time and im so sore after work). I do have the nutrients, but I don't *have* to use them, I just figured it was a bit of a spending spree i was on and I bought it just because. Most likely i won't even use half of this stuff I have. I'll be following your directions on this one, but I guess when you have the money sometimes you want to spend it? Maybe that was just one of those "I'm just doing it because" moments. Not sure, but hey I can always return them.
I should get the Spear book on growing and read it, so that will be on my spending spree list. That or I'll find it at a library and just read it there.

Maybe in a few grows I can do a side by side. but two plants is all I really see myself having room for right now.

thank you everyone so far, im excited as I hear no noise coming from the LED and boy is it bright in that tent!

Got a thermometer/hydrometer? Whats the temp and humidity with the light running?

Haha...I was just thinking it would be super cool to run a side by side grow using FF vs organics. I started using FF trio, and used the Bloom trio the following year. Not a controlled experiment(same strains but not cloned), but I personally found improvement using the bloom trio.

I did a side by side with House and Garden Soil A and B. Now it wall only 2 plants out of 8 that got it, the rest were organic. The bottled nutes got stomped! The H7G plant was the smallest and the other only tied for the middle. Not a scientific sampling by any means, but even I was surprised!

No go ahead and run with it! you know you want to lol! We will all work together and you'll get thru this fine. Next grow, you can decide to change but no sense spending time and money returning anything. and who knows.Maybe you'll like that style of growing!
