Staying focused in the later years, now takes a concerted effort! Throw in some powerful canna int the mix, it can be quite a challenge. If ya don't use it, ya lose it!

Well, at least ya picked something will surely test your indoor growing skill to the max!!!:hump:

All right! 4 of the 5 have sprouted and the 5th may still sprout we'll see. But even 4 out of 5 with landrace seeds is good. I'll get pics tomorrow, its' lights out in the growroom for the photos in the raised bed.

Got the pic this morning! Now I'm excited! I've waited over 50 years to grow something like this!

Update:
WOOOO! These things have exploded! 2days ago they were just barely as wide as the pots. Today they as overdue for transplant! They'll be going into true 3 gallon pots of organic soil. Now, I doubt this will feed the for 6 months... but when they start looking hungry, I'll start them on megacrop 1 part. they'll be root bound for sure but that count's as a training technique lol! When they are big enough, I'll take a couple clones and sex them. I'm thinking of hitting a landrace Mazar with some Lao Sa pollen! Might be an interesting cross!

Just filled 4, three gallon pots ( true three gallons ). Soon as my back rests I'll transplant!
Organic potting soil mixed with Quody Blend compost from Coast of Maine. Has lobster and crab compost etc in it. I used about 2.5 gallons of compost, 1/2 gallon of Coast of Maine EWC, 2 cups of Epsoma Garden Tone organic nutrients, and 7 gallons of soil. That filled about three pots so I made another batch and bagged the left overs in 5 gallon ziplocks that I bought on amazon.
