Indoor Grow 1.5 : Auto Jack Herer & Biodiesel Mass & Bag Seed Plant

Yes, it makes sense not to have to limit light w/ autos. ... on the flip side, one idea I also keep thinking about is also just doing a straight perpetual 12/12 grow. Apparently takes a little longer, and I won't ever get a BOM award, but if it would keep me in smoke, spend 1/2 the electricity and if say I started a new plant every 30 days, and could maintain 6 plants.... hmm Just all ideas still, I need more experience. I get plant envy when I see experienced growers with more full plants at 2 weeks ;-) ...

Here is the Auto Jack Herer today. I believe what I am seeing is still the heat stress? The younger photos don't show evidence and all look good -- they may overtake the auto in the grow.

Look ok?

Looks OK ... I think a grower w/ a couple successful auto grows under their belt could easily produce more w/ autos over a 12 month period than a grower doing photos using 12/12 ... for most the average electric savings would run from $5 to $20 per month ...

Happy Saturday!

OK, I'm going to stick with trying autos. :) I placed a second seed order yesterday!

10 Seeds Grass-O-Matic Mix GOM Autoflowering Feminised Seeds
... and while I couldn't bring myself to pay $17 per seed for Mephisto, I did splurge on 3 seeds of Dutch Passion Think Different Autoflowering Feminised Seeds. Freebies: 1 X SamSara Holy Grail 69 Feminised Seed, 2 X Delicious Cheese Candy Feminised Seeds, 5 X Afghani Regular Seeds. So 13 autos, and then some right at $100(£75.43). Hopefully enough to take me through a year. Plant one every 30 days, maybe...

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the deck is still filling up, and blooming. I have strawberries and string beans now, too :)

... and most fun, the babies are mostly looking great:

The DeLaHaze is a full 1" taller and looking best. It's a sativa dominant plant:

The Auto Jack Herer, 17 days old, still looking ok:

Happy growing!

... what is a little disappointing is that on the auto, even the new growth shows the same signs of trouble/stress as above.

Nice looking deck ... perhaps you could post a pic of your auto in the infirmary section and someone there may know what's going on w/ it .... I know I've had it before but no idea what I did to control it ....

Well, the auto may just be handicapped. Here she is, day 20:

Still looks ok. I read so much about training both for autos and photos. I may crop the photos, not the auto. For now, I put them all in ponytail for the day.

... best of the grow is still the DeLaHaze photo plant, day 16 -- looks like she grew an inch in three days!

Nice job w/ the pony tails ... it may be the soil on the Jock ... I think it's gonna take off any time now ... :pass:

Thanks, Chester! -- I think I got the idea from one of your posts to do the ponytails! Like 6 hrs on every other day ... or even 12 hours a day? I'm trying to decide if I should try LST training on the DeLaHaze ... I'm still reading, but def have the goal of a dense even canopy from my grow :)

12 hrs a day can be hard on a plant ... I generally do 6 hrs every day for 3-4 days and then if they are ok maybe a couple more times
