G'day fellow growers!
First and foremost, a HUGE thanks to Tony for sending me this pack of 3x AutoXtreme!
In this experimental segment, we shall be attempting something new. In the same line as my AutoMazar grow, but with a twist. To bring the best of two worlds together, organic growing and hydroponics. And to verify quality vs cost effectiveness, etc.
Technically, coco is hydro. It is usually described an inert medium, but that is far from the truth, not our growing coco husk! Nevertheless, like rockwool, aeroponics, DWC, NFT etc etc - it is very easy to produce good results using chemical ferts, good EC/pH pens, love and patience.
Going organic in coco seems like an adventure!! Lots of things could go wrong and not as near as easy to diagnose and fix. So I hope peeps see this and join the fun! EC cannot be controlled, and absolutely no acid to pH(-) can be used at all... I am excited to try this!!
3 beanies were dropped in a pH 5.7 solution of 2ml/L of Rhizotonic.

24H later, all had cracked and were placed in paper towel method.
24H later, all had 1/2cm rootlings and were placed in root riot cubes (knuckle high-five Tony!)
24H later (today) all have sprouted, roots searching for space, transplanted into final medium
100% germ rate! :thumbs:

So here is the plan;
1 will be run in Canna Coco with Canna Coco nutes (sort of control for coco medium) - named AX-Coco
1 will be run in Biobizz Light Mix with Biobizz nutes (sort of control for biobizz nutes) - named AX-Biobizz
1 will be run in Canna Coco with Biobizz nutes (experimental plant) - named AX-CocoBizz

I have high hopes for this! It would be sweet to go all OMRI.
