Tasting, mmmmmmm, always nice. Looking really good Grof, how is the sol treating you? Great looking plants!!!
I'm loving it! For one, that its rated at 450w and it does in fact read 450w from a watt meter. Light spread is absolutely amazing, extremely even spectrum blend at as little as 5cm away, and stretches well to the far corners of my 1.2 x 1.2 tent. Since it has no optics you can lower it much closer to the plant. Less clutter as well, one piece hanging in the center doing all the work!
Pretty soon I'll start another run where I'll use it from seed, so stay tuned High 5 I am absolutely convinced that less plants will yield quit some more with the added space for ventilation and light penetration. New 20L airpots are itching for action too Evil Laugh x
yep, its looking good Groff. I am wondering what the yield is going to end up like on this grow, hopefully it will be a decent one
It will be for sure! Maybe not mind blowing, to be honest I was a bit surprised when I saw the amber triches, but I've got 3 great looking plants, so I'm a happy as can be!
I was absolutely convinced I had another 30 odd days of fattening, but no... Also with the Mazars the same thing happened, though I was really surprised with the final yield. I've never had such dense compact nugs. On the other hand, I thought the cola and sides would be visually fatter. I did a heck of a lot of diary comparison to try and push the AutoX's, but I dont really see the benefits of it. Or maybe its just wishful thinking hoping to compare 20L bubble buckets and pots against my 10L ? :howdy: Cool:
I'm formulating this theory that albeit coco is, no doubt, a fantastic and easy medium, the inability to control veg vs bloom feeds hinders the potential for performance with auto's since they're light agnostic ... This could well be overcome, or even taken advantage of, with supplemental additives and a different approach.... For instance I think next time round I'll try to "
pk light-massage" the plant 10 days after sex to substantially reduce N proportion and simulate a flowering schedule change, then back to normal until the actual pk boost. That
maybe triggers the plant faster since there is no 12/12 flip. I now see that my pk boost came too late on both the Mazar and AutoX's, probably due to the coco's CEC slowing the development process, but not the maturing process.
Just some nutty ideas
