New Grower Greetings from the Emerald Isle

hi guys, new to all this stuff

right so i have a setup and waiting on my seeds and fert to arrive

im gonna grow Royalmatic from www.ministryofcannabis.com

i will also use vermi compost seeing as its the only half decent stuff i can get my hands on in my extremely tight budget

i'll try and upload photos when i find the lead for my camera :cry:

due to the crapiness or ireland and the stuff in it i am unable to get half of the things so when i ask for advice (and i more than likely will) do keep in mind i will have to make most of the stuff you suggest me to get etc.

hahahaha forgot to add what's in my setup

seeds: 5+2 royalmatic autoflowers from MOS
lights: 3 24w(105w output) cfls
medium: Homebase multipurpose compost
pots: homemade (from old water bottles) 15L tubs
fertiliser: vermi compost (worm poo)
just gonna open the door for air movement and im not using bloom booster or anything like that and in ireland, well, where i am anyway we have great water for gowing plants filled with nutrients etc b.cuz its been filter through shedloads of peat
Any Q's about my set up please do ask
also if anyone has grown royalmatics PLEASE tell me how it went

That's barely enough light for one plant. also, what is the kelvin range of the cfls?

315w total and they are a mix of cool and warm whites (i seriously cant find anything better, i have barely any money as it is and i cant afford to pay for hps hid or any of those) cool whites 6700k and the warm white is 2700k,im thinkin about adding another warm white to even out the spectrum

You don't need HPS, Im a big believer in CFL grows, but for a second it looked like you were trying to grow 5 plants with 3 CFLS total

haha im am trying to grow 6 with 4 cfls in a cupboard upstairs, i know its nothing amazing but its the best i can get at this moment in time

Hey Kernanator, welcome to AFN mate.
I would definitely add more lights or at least I wouldn't germ all seeds.
There are grow shops in Ireland but if you are on tight budget you can always get cheap clip on light mains (4-5 euro) and 20w cfl bulbs (for 1-2 euro) in most hardware and discount shops and add lights gradually.

thanks man yea turns out if i add another light my total wattage will be 440w (never been good at maths :L i used a calculator) which is decent enough plus they are all energy savers :booya:
i will add fotos when i can

Keep in mind that actual CFL wattage of 24w cfl is 24w not 100w (in case you countIncandescent Equivalent)100 Watt Incandescent Equivalent/24 Watt

yea its the wattage used but the light given off is warm white:115w and cool white:105w
or does it not work that way ?
