And the insects have been going at it too. Boo Hoo

Ah man! Sorry to see that happened to them. The wind has been mental here too, I had to stake my auto. I'm expecting to see the same at my photos plot on the next visit tbh. Have you got a back up plan in case they don't pull through?

Damn, that's a shame bro:nono:
You're still in time for a new run of autos, it's never too late.

Best vibes!

Gave her a hit of biobizz bloom today, the other plant hasnt recovered but hasnt totally wilted away so she gets a weeks reprieve.
Next wave has 11 days left in the box then has to go out, 2 blackberry kush and an automazar. Theres also 2 forrest dream and 2 fresian dews on standby.
Please mother nature no more gales! I think the Spanish and latin word for Wales is Gales ? sure it is

Yer - weather in UK has been totally rubbish this year - largely overcast with sporadic bursts of hail and rain with a good lashing of gales pulled in from the Arctic - so bloody cold too.

I'm always nervous about staking plants outdoors (even in the garden).

1) It makes them obviously cultivated and not a plant in the wild.

2) By supporting the plant you don't encourage it to develop a suitably supportive stem - and a plant in windy weather can sustain more damage thrashing about its stake than suffering a few torn roots.

Looks like they should recover OK and may just suffer a set-back, as for that insect... did it have 4 legs or did you chop it down?

Re your insects - I always scatter a liberal handful of slugbait around the surrounding area in the hope of creating a kill zone around my plants - but not on the plant sites themselves. As an allotment grower who likes the odd lettuce I have no sympathy for any casualties - just wish I could plant my weed out there.

judging by the ground your plants are on, looks like you might not be getting enough direct light, not very dense vegetation there. Also consider using a synthetic insecticide when they are smaller and spray the area around the plants, one thats 'systemic' would be best, usually they are effective for several weeks after spraying. Once flowering starts, it should no longer be necessary, but if there are still insect issues, usually spraying around your plants will help, most insects walk to plants instead of flying to them.

Thanks guys
last year i tried stakes and found out the hard way that it fecks your plant over but good advice non the less, i cant harden the plants off at home thats the main couse of the problems. I can only use a small fan too which doesnt help.
the location gets ten hours direct light, its on the edge of forrest and is exposed to winds coming right off the sea ! So when it blows they get pumeled, the photos are miles away so they didnt get it so bad but the denser bush means more critters. That spot has had problems like this before and they also bore holes in the fresian dew stems whick i taped up, i cought loads of ants taking bits of stem away too. After ive put microzial fungi in the bags are open for a few weeks to let rain in and thats when the ants move in and others probs.
Growing outdoors always has losses thats the way she blows! Thanxs for tbe input much appreciated

Heres the state of play today
DSCF1710.JPG

Super Cali haze has survived and is looking ok, has just started to flower too.
DSCF1711.JPG

Blackberry Kush auto, was a little weak when i put her out, hopefully she will pick up.
DSCF1712.JPG

Auto mazar
DSCF1714.JPG

Auto whitewidow or euphoria ! not too sure anymore but this ones slow to flower for sure.
DSCF1713.JPG

Flowering good but already lost the top cola to mould, thought this one was euphoria but is starting to stink a little like widow so well see.
DSCF1715.JPG
The dreaded mould - any time any place any where !

More wet weather and more mould, got my first smoke of the season drying on the amp some salvaged auto whitewidow seems stinky so lookin forward to that.
DSCF1718.JPG

DSCF1717.JPG

Shes flushing now so should come down next week
DSCF1721.JPG

Blackberrykush front then automazar right, auto euphoria top and auto whitewidow left. The far left plant is supercalihaze should be better once the widow comes down more space air and light comes in.
Any other uk growers struggling with mould ?
