Light is a 300watt running 30 inches from the soil at 40% roughly 120watts. 24hours 10 dli ? Planted on the 5th came above soil on the 6th. In 3 gallon pot pre soaked with Biobizz light mix with take root and multi total. Gunna give first splash of water today ? Temp sits around 22-25 and rh is around 40-55 that’s with humidifier on i can’t seem to increase much humidity. Thanks !!

Wow these are really kicking into gear now. Everyday there growing noticeably larger Being a new grower I really didn’t expect it to take off how they have….and there still alive !! for now anyway !! The one with deformed leafs has new healthy leaves so I’m not to concerned but the twisted leaves look a lot worse !! As for watering Im being careful to not water too much, I pre soaked/saturated the pot before planting seed so just been spraying the top of the soil every other day or so, the pots are starting to get a lot lighter so I’m guessing maybe water til runoff end of this week or start of next ? It still feels moist a few inches below surface would this be okay ?or should I just keep spraying down the top until the whole pot starts to feel dry ? Here’s my girls 9 days above soil and my deformed girl how they looking ?

I don't see any light burn. Those all look very healthy.

The next few weeks of your grow is where I ALWAYS have problems.

Go buy some mosquito bits. Soak about 2 tablespoons in water, and use that to water with. It has a bacteria that likes to eat fungus gnat larvae.

Don't over water. This is the hardest part about growing in soil / peat moss for me, is in the next few weeks you can easily over water and make the plants sick. Be diligent about your water.

Thank you for that I’ll get that added to my first water I’m really concerned about pests I haven’t read nothing about dealing with them any more advice ? Common problems I might encounter so I can prepare ? And the pots are 12 litres how would 500ml sound for the first heavy water ? See how they react ?

I'm not growing in soil, I grow in half soil / half coco, so it has to be watered daily.

For straight soil, I would typically water heavy when I planted the seed, and then not water for 7-10 days until the sprout was up, then I'd give each plant, IDK, maybe a solo cup worth? You don't want the peat moss drying out too much and going hydrophobic, I've had that happen and its a pain in the ass.

Fungus gnats are the only thing I've had to battle with. Get some fly strips to hang in your tent, use the mosquito bits weekly, and you shouldn't have any issues. I had a grow where they got away from me, and it was a disaster. Plus it stunted the heck out of my plants, so I ended up having to just cut them down and start over.
