Grow Mediums Gorilla glue by sanguine

Mate.. since I've just done a few nice plants in coco, I see what you mean! My plants have been on drippers from a water butt of pre mixed and pH'd feed for a month. That's hydro ennit?

The last forum I was on, all the hydro growers harped on about EC, background EC, letting pH and EC drift.. fookinell they made it sound difficult, most likely to look cool I expect! [emoji23][emoji23]
as far as im concerned ph and ppm are just numbers on a stick. if the number drops bring it back up. if it gets too high bring it back down. not much else to it really. wish somebody explained it to me like that at the start. smashed my head open for a while aswell that one lol.

hope you enjoy your holidays mate. theyre looking awesome. how close are those cobs though? is it just the angle, my half shut eyes or have you got them like 5 inches away?

Cheers dudes yea cano their fastbuds.
Yea evil they were pretty close during those pics have them about 8-10 inches away now seem to be doing fine
wow, thats a big difference from leds mate. any closer than 18" and mine fry. never knew you could get them that close. hmm.. i could really use some of them like. think my plant height limit is 26" due to my stupid shaped attic. that would give me another 8 inches to play with... he said with an entirely straight face lol

@EvilScotsman i had them at 2 foot for the first few weeks then slowly lowered.
The cobs are an expensise outlay at around £120 each although you can build them cheaper yourself (i picked up a bargain on ebay about 50 quid each)

But i was running 600w hps and at 14p per kwh that costs 8.4p per hour £2.01p per day at 24h lights on.
Over a standard 80 day grow for me that was costing £160.80
Running 200w of cobs costs only £53.60 per grow so saving nearly the price of a cob per grow...
Holy fuck what a stoned rant point is they pay for themselves after only 1 year

i havent worked out exactly what i pay for mine but including the house leccy its only £2.50 a day with 540w led. some good stats to know though. seeing more and more people switch to cobs and the results from such a low output are uncompareable. had my eye on the amare 450 but after seeing how close you can get those autocobs my mind may be changing : )

Sang! Just looking at your thread, damn, cobs and beast plants, fucking awesome mate. Been on the cob tip over a year now, it's the way forward, I have 200w in a 2'x0.5' wardrobe, way too much but great for flower, enjoyed catching up on your endeavours mate.
