New Grower Gorilla Glue Autos in a 4x4 tent. New grower. Advice welcomed.

Great! The brown ends on the cotyledons were concerning me.
I’ve really been trying to dial-in my VPD, and I think i’m getting really close

This is the one ive been very lightly watering because I planted without wetting the soil.

I guess its time for a good watering.
Maybe like two cups?
That would be a good start I think, maybe a little more.

Im starting to see little black specks on the leaves of this seedling. What can this be?

i’ll try to wipe it off with a Q-Tip when i get a chance.

I was thinking it might be Black Leaf Spot Fungus.
I went and got some neem oil just in case.

After doing some research im deciding to treat my grow area with neem oil and diatomaceous earth.
i’m also going to start feeding silica and im adding a bug screen to my intake fan.

Those dots might not be anything to worry about, and i hope its not, but better safe than sorry :)

Don't go crazy with the silica, I made that mistake. You'll want to let it sit for at least half an hour before you mix anything else with it as it will bind with your nutes and make it unavailable to your plants. Can't remember, are you treating your water for chloramine? If so the order you want to go is absorbic acid (24 hours while you're off gassing the chlorine)>silica(30+ minutes)>nutrients>bennies>ph adjuster

Thank you.
what are bennies?
Im treating for chloramine with a filter(boogie blue filter). I’m not currently using absorbic acid with my water.

Cool, so you can just skip that one then lol. Bennies, like any kind of beneficial bacteria, fungi, etc you may add.

do you adjust your ph before your ppm?
Ph is the very last step as everything else you add is going to change the ph along the way. Ph adjustment products are typically P based, and its your not normally going to need enough to change your PPM by much.
