New Grower Gorilla Glue Autos in a 4x4 tent. New grower. Advice welcomed.

Got these today, so will definitely get going on these asap.

Crop king gave me another 3 Gorilla Cake seeds from their guarantee (thought it was going to be another 5, but this works)

When I ordered the Early Miss seeds they had a bogo deal (the free one was a mystery) and by my surprise got some AK47 autos! The first 5 free I got were femis.

now… should i get all three different autos brewing? :stir: :stir::smokeout:

If i end up germinating in soil i’ll only be able to fit 2 pots on the heating mat, unless i use solo cups and transfer to the bigger pot which i rather not do (i hear autos dont like to be transplanted).

Take a length of toilet tissue of nice quality -6 sheets together is enough, - Take a spray bottle and mist your tissue. - Add seeds, Fold over, and mist your tissue package of seeds until it is soaked through. - Place in a plastic bag .- Place this somewhere warm with stable temperatures Eg top of a warm router or lap top transformer .i cover with a paper back book- After 24-36 hours you can unwrap to check on the progress, re-wet the tissue if necessary, . got a tail - Ready to plant!

other methods work  ,,best way to do this .is keep it simple ,,read the threads ,,,,,and ,no real problems you will only be a week behind ,,,:toke:

This is what i will be doing for these seeds, except with a heating mat.

Hey AFN!

So 24hrs later and I got one of the gorilla cakes open, one of the AK’s and 2 Early Miss. So already way better success rate.

Thanks for the tip! @hairyman!

Warm is good. Too cool and failure rate goes up. I like to get them started at ~30C. IMO, anything less than 25C is not a good idea.

Had my heating mat set to around 80F - 26C.

Thank you as well!

Now theyre just cracked, not really a tail yet. Would it be okay for soil?

Majority of them are all about open that much, maybe a little less.

you could wait till they have a bigger tail or plant now,,,,now you know they germed ,,next part is getting them settled in their new home,,,make sure your pot is well watered,,dont want any dry spots inside ,,roots grow really quick ,,they hit a dry spot ,,they stop simples,,i normally cover the seeds once planted with a plastic cup, like these,, don't have to be blue, I keep these on till they have surfaced and got straight and settled,,,

She looks pretty good to me, though the soil does look like it could stand to be watered.

Great! The brown ends on the cotyledons were concerning me.
I’ve really been trying to dial-in my VPD, and I think i’m getting really close

This is the one ive been very lightly watering because I planted without wetting the soil.

I guess its time for a good watering.
Maybe like two cups?
