Old Reviews Good carbon filter? What are you using and would reccomend?

Has anybody every tried the HTG brand carbon filters. I think that they are made by GrowBright.
Their 4"x21" only runs $70, so they very well may be a cheap knock off. I just figured I would see if anyone here has given em' a shot.

From my experience and what I've read on forums carbon filters are one of those things where there is no real bargain or deal, you just get what you pay for. The phresh is a proven brand with a great track record, why not drop the extra 20 bucks to get one of comparable size that will last twice as long, if not more?

I've experienced this down to the quality of carbon I buy for my homemade filters. I bough the bargain brand this time and guess who's in late flower with a stinky room? Time to go get the good stuff.
